Yes, the sites are bad, but it is still just as effective and has an insane ROF for having such a low recoil. So, you don’t have to be accurate, just spray and pray… at least till the clip runs dry. 
I have one squad of these I use these along with my M1’s. The only draw back is the sites and the mag size.
The ingame stats are mostly wrong though.
Allied Tanks are far worse.
None of them excluding the 90mm cannon can OHK most German tanks (not counting ammo) and also have about same pen iirc. Their armor also is not that great.
Only their MGs are better.
The Jumbo only works if their is no Panther or Tiger around and almost all BRV tanks are at least BRIV material.
T-34-85 is probably best medium tank in the game and maybe even best Soviet tank if IS2 is too slow for people.
Japanese planes are mediocre to horrible.
KT is extremely easy to counter since you have our Panzerfaust 100 and a one or two hits from that thing or 1hk shell from your IS-2 or way more mobile T-34-100 will destroy it. Soviets have superior smgs, rifles, ARs and mgs. Your paratroopers are the best in the game. There is nothing left for the Axis except few planes that are 10% better wow we are totally the best nation all right? Your La-7 and I-185 are pretty good and only suffer in top speed which you don’t really need unless you want to run away like a coward. So you are only weak in planes while every single thing is better or equal to the Axis.

i like how a certain person here is trying to make out the pps-42/43 are laser accurate then posted that their dispersion is on par with german ones, then also claimed that madsen isn’t the only LMG russia get then posts one no one can have access too and a BP one

I like semis at br 2 since they help with my aggressive play style, it’s especially useful in assaulter squads 
Not really because they are bad at mid range compare to the MP40
