Possible side effects of increasing rally beacon distance from the objective

Snipers might finally get some use in that case to counter machine gunners, which should finally get more use.

They should… But we will also see MUCH less ppl going for cap zones and even more campers. Worse is by then we won’t be able to blame them…

Caps would definitely need a lot of tweaking, as right now they’re fine-tuned using metrics taken from zerg tactics.

Remember that adjusting cap times and reinforcements is something the devs do every update, so it’s well within their means.

Yep, on enclosed points. Open points will be overrun and capped by attackers with only knives.

Luckily the Devs have said that the change will be reverted, so wait a day to play I guess.

They just rolled back the change, tomorrow back to normal

No, if anything is ever adjusted they should just change the number of tickets burned when a squad re-spawns

So, you want to adjust it in the other direction then. Definitely don’t agree to that, matches are already too short. 10-15 minutes invasion games are just way too common.

I’ve still gotten good use out of rallies in Gorge destruction. Easy to open up a separate flank, especially since rally points can be placed on greater slopes now.
