No points, kicked for excessive (strike 3 youre out). Cant deter complete retards but is sufficient for most hardcore games.
Go a step further and wp grenades become consumables, you keep team killing you will go broke trying to spam wp

you think that points will stop trolls? also making an item a consumable is a 1 way street down to repair cost central
Didnt say that at allā¦
Doesnt matter what you do there will always be tards. Satisfying to see them kicked though. (Currently no consequence)
Specialist grenades imo should be consumable. Way over used. Makes sense. If they dont wanna put a hard restriction on it, a soft restriction is better than nothing.
This has been talked about over and over and over in the last 2 weeks. Continuously posting about it in such a short span of time will do nothing more than annoy the helpers and devs.
In addition:
Demanding changes has proven in the past to be very counterproductive.
If you can present a reasonable suggestion for the balance or mechanic change, it will be seriously considered. however:
simply removing this damage is just not an option.
Why?
Because if its removed than the amount of fire and gas on an objective will quadruple with ease, from both sides. Lighting entire areas on fire and keeping them pretty much permanently on fire will be the meta. This is NOT a good thing.
Friendly fire must be punished not removed.
This will force players to play smarter
Well to be honest if i see a room full of soviets (you know what iām talking about, the one on tractor factory for detonation) armes with ppsh hipfiting woth pitch perfect accuracy mowing down swuad after squad iād rather burn everything and maybe have a chance at disarming than letting it blow because no one tries to flank or throw grenades in first. Itās not always the flamerās fault. Iāve turned around a good couple of matches from embaressing losses into wins by purgin the whole point area.
BUT i do understand the frustration. I most of the times try to do as little damage as possible and if i see allies clustered in one space i just go somewhere else were there are none or few allies. Or try to cut the enemy off. Itās not that hard to not burn everyone to a crisp but itās not always an option. Plus if you see someone flaming an objective to clear it itās your own damn fault if you run jnto the fire before it goes out.
That being said i think the team damage should stay.
There has to be friendly fire, otherwise flame stuff could be even more abused by players playing in group with communication on mics.
It would be even more cancerous than some random team killing kids.
You are even the only one who, when reading your answers, I see that you propose something very sensible. The others only care if the rally point is badly located. My God. Maybe they havenāt had to play with toxic players or trolls but those bastards already have me bitter.
But thatās not what itās about, thatās strategy and using your brain. Iām talking about the bastards who intentionally burn and troll their own teammates. Iām really sick of those players.
Sorry, but that answer is completely meaningless. And of logic. How many players (including myself) play with friends and communicate via mic (discord) and I have never, and I repeat it again, I have NEVER ruined anyoneās gaming experience. So no, dude, thatās a poor reason. Those who do are bastards and trolls.
I could agree, but with a REAL punishment system and not some stupid ācomplainā button.
Look, I donāt know if youāre a helper or a developer, but I donāt care if it bothers you to tell the truth. When there are problems, you have to find a solution, not cry and complain about those who complain. Usually I donāt come to the forum to complain or bother, but this fire situation already has me up to the balls.
ha ha ha ha ha ha! Yes, and you will see that they will introduce changes in that aspect.
I wasnāt referring to you.
I encountered a lot groups abusing things like WP grenades, especially in Pacific. I know theirs nicknames from discord servers so I am 100% know they played in group.
They could easily abuse flames if there wasnāt any team damage. One would constantly spam objective with flame stuff meanwhile others would try to cap it.
I really donāt know why are you so angry about my opinion, things like this would surely happen. And this is more toxic than random kid with flamer. I donāt even remember when was the last time I was purposely killed by teammate.
Btw. You should chill down.
If it is to want something, I want a million Euros⦠But you have to be realistic and see that there is a problem here because of players who troll and screw over their teammates. Simply that. The devs need to apply forceful measures to punish these bastards. Letās propose forceful measures for this class of problems. Enough bullshit.
I think they should add friendly fire to everything. Makes the endless spamming of everything everywhere obsolete. Also maybe slows down the game a bit
But in that case I can only be in favor if there is an effective method to punish the trolls and toxic, if not, it would only aggravate the existing problem even more.
Of course, deduct score for team kill, vote to tick out of match and get negative XP multiplier for multiple teamkill, lock account for certain time after serious teamkill in multiple matches.
Thatās an instant way to kill the game good luck with that being implemented.
3 player kills or 9 entity (bot) = boot (number can be whatever)
Its pretty hard to āaccidentilyā kill 3 players or 9 friendlies unless you are being careless or intentional. Deserve boot.
Friendlies are marked on map and HUDā¦cant miss themā¦if you drop bombs or arty on them you roll the dice. Would slow down the game cos people would have to learn restraint, or constantly get kicked
There is also another method that other games use. If you hit a friendly, damage is reflected and you die.
