The devs have said in multiple places that they don’t want to get rid of conquest so I think we’re stuck with it for now. I think a more fruitful approach would be to get specific about that you like and don’t like about it, and what could be done to improve it.
I haven’t fully fleshed these ideas; but what about dynamic capture zones that move with the actions of the game? Maybe capturing/holding/destroying objectives could open or close areas of the map or trigger… Something…
If they ain’t getting rid of it they shouldn’t force more Conquest onto players. The new patch they did was the worst and it made Conquest much worst. You can no longer play invasion twice in a row, rotation is now 5 conquests, 1 invasion, then 5 conquests. The Devs are killing the game
The Devs should know very well the majority of Community dislike Conquest, they have to be blind and stupid if they still force Conquest onto players. I lost all respect for Devs when they added this change and made myself and many others angry, and my friends already quitted the game
I like the new update tbh. The rotation is now so fast that when I get conquest I can leave and que again and get a different map. I have the opposite experience than you op, since the update I played only invasion and had to leave less games to acomplice this. Before I had to wait near to 1 hr to get the rotation back to invasion. Right now I can keep playing again.
On the topic of conquest, I dont dislike conquest but once every 10 games is enough for me.
Invasion is just much more fun… You go to the big brawls in a signle obj, what could be funnier? I think most of us here like this game because the big brawls. And having to run to a point to another in conquest is not the same
normanday invasion maps are fun for me, except D-Day. It really needs a reworks, that map would be fun with double of players in game but rn many games the beach feels empty, is not like in the movies where thousand of soldiers where charging across the sand
We need a tug a war mode. 5 sections… Must capture yhe niddle to go to the next one. It wpuld be sofferent than invasion, wont be conquest, but still provide big fights. Would be hard to make right but would provide fast fights, big brawls and the feeling of war when you go back and fourth.
Berlin has 5 points to Cap its still horrible. I quit and desert every match that i find on Conquest and ALF+ F4. Players shouldnt have to do this to avoid things like this…
i want to say they are working on a mode selector or have plans to make one but right now it would be pointless with how few maps there really each campaign have
A somewhat dynamic approach to conquest could be quite satisfying, true. But again that requires a bigger map, which as well could be an Invasion map. I still like this idea, just don’t know how to realise it.
An option to exclude game modes would be great, I’d like to stick to invasion and assault. A frontline game mode would be great though, where the capture line would move back and forth.
