And Beretta MAB 38 use 40rnd mags in war time…
I tried switching back to MP28 but it was a rather sad experience…
Not only do 20 rounds always run dry too soon, but the gun is less accurate than I remembered.
Unless the OG43 turns out to be at least very accurate, I’m afraid the Folgore guys will be DOA unless picking up the flamethrowers. But even then, that’s sad.
From what I’ve seen, it could have at least a decent sights. Unlike m50, that’s true 20 mag suffering for weirdos.
Btw, do we know which setup flamethrower will replace?
And afaik the Beretta M1 was a prototype and the M30 Drilling a shotgun for Afrika-Pilots and here we are.
Pretty aure MAB 38 is a prewar weapon used the entire duration of WWII, with 40rnd mag
According to the Excel sheet posted above in this thread, the Folgore will be the first para squad with 5 loadout options in the crate, flamethrowers being n° 5.
They could give them Italian MG, lol. Very odd choice yet again.
But I guess ZB is better.
Indeed. In game terms, Breda 30 sucks .
Yeah, but I personally don’t like Bren-like MGs since don’t see half of the screen. Extremely unpractical.
An ideal LMG should either be like Mg42 or 1918 BAR.
Others aren’t worth it unless you don’t have access to anyother reliable automatic weapon such as in Normandy allies.
Oh, I forgot:

That’s how it looks like while holding RMB? Seems like it’s just pressed.
I didn’t think about that, but I don’t have access to the CDK, so I have to rely on others’ pics and what’s on the Wiki.
But maybe yes, since the other ADS pic I found is this:
M1 is not M38 I think.
I’m disappointed there are so few Italian weapons available for the Italian paratroopers to equip.
actually it is bro .
A variant of the Model 38/44 was fitted with an MP40-style under-folding stock as the Model 1
this is from wiki
So it isn’t.
But of course, if you don’t consider the different name, different stock, different dimensions, different barrel, different ROF, different firing performances, and overall a series of different details intended to make the production cheaper, then yes, iT’s ThE sAmE gUn.
its the same gun, lol
maybe not the same gun but the same platform of gun
With that reasoning, literally every version of AK or M16/AR15 is the same
The M1 was intented as paratroopers gun, it was developed copyng the german mp40 but the project was abbandoned in favor of the m38 semplification the m38/42, the M1 design come back after the war end with a post war beretta 38/49
Si is not the same gun is a mp40 copy
