The event squad was supposed to be gimmick.
Paratroopers should not be used as the main force.
Considering how toxic flamethrowers are ,20round mag + the ability to gain flamethrower is fair enougth to compair with 30 round mag in my opinion
If it’s supposed to be that good, why did they put that squad as intermediate reward, and instead the British squad as final unlock?

Well, even in that case, an event squad will be of no help if it will turn out to be a handicapped meme squad.
Everyone seems to be so scared of this new flamethrower, and somehow ignoring that A) IT’S AN UNDERPOWERED VERSION that paras MAY OR MAY NOT be able to pick up, and B) there’s plenty of flametroopers running around in Tunisia already, including 2 full flametroopers premium squads. And those have top tier long range flamethrowers, even.

And to cry it out loud, people seem also to be scared by the possibility of a mediocre SMG getting a slightly larger magazine, FFS.
Am I asking for them to get M38? NO. Am I asking for them to get unhistorical arbitrary buffs to the weapon? NO.
I’m just asking for the gun to get a different option than the WORST possible choice of magazines.

I’m not sure those even exist for that gun, but since in this case the mag is also the grip, I’d be curious to see the soldier even just wielding the OG43 with a mag that short.
The weapon had an effective range of roughly 20-25 meters(from wikipedia)
And there should be 3 team members getting flamethrowers , more than a normal squad.
It exist, it use berettaM38 mag (10,20,30,40rd)

If you believe that philosophy what do you say to the Vickers and the Thompson paratroopers in Normandy.
But you know that flamethrowers in Enlisted get standardized range and damage according to their tier, whereas tier 1 ones have a 18-20m range and lower DPS (but more fuel) while tier 2 ones have 30m or so range and higher DPS (but less fuel).
This particular flamethrower is most likely going to be a low tier one, AND to have little fuel capacity.
And anyway, it will be totally useless in mid-long range engagements, that are the norm in Tunisia.
I’d be perfectly fine if it was just 2.
Yes 10 and 20 round was generally made for police use
Also, I still need to find a source, but I’m being told that indeed during wartime only 40 rds mags existed, and smaller capacity ones were made post war.
EDIT: my source told me that only 30 rds mags are post war.

It lack both range and fuel compared to free one is written in the description in the news topic, still we cant know how much of them lack withaut use it first
