They did designate the Panther as a medium tank, while Russians classified it as a heavy tank because of its weight.
Their designations don’t always make sense.
That’s fair, there could always be miss information out there. It just seems that multiple reports from pilots saying that the initial fire rate of Stukas was to low and needed to be revised would say something. You can find a lot of these reports through educational websites on WW2 alone. (Not meaning History channel or any other documentary website)
Initial stukas had 7.92mm MGs
Those were wing mounted weapons that were later added after the invasion of poland. Most had a 20mm cannon located in the hub of the plane
if he is talking about the 50. cal then its normal to get killed 50. cal were really good ammo that can start ammo fires and can rip the wings off some aircraft in WW2 so expect anything if its a P47 or P51
