Perk system stealthily nerfed further in the most recent patch

After the Academy change, a player could dismiss any perk at any time to drop their soldier a level. As of the most recent patch, however, one can only drop one perk at a time, and only when their soldier is at a full load of perks.

For example, a five star soldier could previously have all five perks reset, then need only earn 800 xp to open up that first perk slot again. Now, the player must fill all five perk slots before being allowed to reset any perk, and can only reset one at a time. As such, one will need 12800 xp per to reroll perks every single time on a five star soldier.

God forbid any part of this game be somewhat player-friendly, I swear I’ve seen casinos that cared more about their patrons getting a fair shake.

Quadro just made video about it yesterday, i though it would be pointless as they could easly go back to retrain points as it was better system.
Here we are today

After all the power creeps and best soldier builds I would even go so far to make them untrainable.

Choose from random 3 you get and that is it. Not all people are the same.

Now we only have clone armies.

If there were no gold way to reroll and buy the best perks I’d agree enough with your sentiment, otherwise that’s pretty P2W.

You see i already have super suldier death squads in one campaign, as many other players have in others.
Why would i go to diffrent campaign now to get shot at by them, if it’s even harder to get to their level?
Every update seems tries to be worse that the other, “no single battle players in top 20” - haha, top 3 players now are 1 battle.
We fixed academy- now new players have to grind 50h for one guy, before you could at least lucked out and get 4star guys.
If they fix weapons im fucking done here

I hope we get back the old retraining points system, that worked well.

Yeah I know, I went from perspective that golden rerolls are also removed. All options to reroll/change are removed.

But that will never happen because they didn’t create Enlisted out of love for WW2 FPS … $$$$ €€€€

Thats really bad change. Actually kinda ruins whole academy removal.

Apparently this was merely a bug. The devs will have to forgive my mistrust, as many of the recent changes to the in-game economy reek of greed over playability. I’m happy to have been proven wrong this time, and welcome them to continue to do so.

i hope you dont count academy change in that catergory cause thats one of the biggest ‘buffs’ to gameplay. It was just horrible after at max campaing level when only grind left was leveling soldiers. It was so time consuming that it was just better to forgive whole thing while playing with friends.

changing 10-20 soldier after each match dont sound much but when trying find right soldiers trough messy ui, unequip and re-equip them, gambling more soldier and dismissing useless one some times took same time as half match…

Now its just throw 1 soldier in squad, arm it and upgradeto to rank 5 and reroll 1 perk after each match. I just love current system

Not the Academy change itself, no. I am fond of the new system and bronze orders come easily enough that I find it easy and refreshing when it comes to training my existing roster.

That said, the implementation of the Academy change was ham-fisted and the elimination of minor graces to the player were unwelcome.

I am firmly against the massive limitation in soldier capacity introduced by making them only available via silver orders. This is prohibitive to any players that want to enjoy more than one faction, more than one campaign, and more than the default number of squads. It is also punitive to new players who may inadvertently over-buy riflemen and find themselves unable to buy specialist classes because the game mechanics are still convoluted.

The promised opportunity to return unneeded soldiers for bronze tickets was touted in the announcement of the Academy change, but failed to be realized and as far as I can tell there has not been confirmation that we will see that implemented.

The elimination of retraining points and over-leveling veteran soldiers was wildly unnecessary and again punitive to players learning the mechanics who may have selected unnecessary or poor perks when first leveling a soldier. Yes, perks can still be replaced, but at a severe cost to overall playability, made worse by the developers penchant for making sure that almost every good thing in the game requires the blessing of RNGesus.

I love this game so far: Enough that I not only paid for plenty of content for myself but I also subsidized one of my friends so he could play unhindered as well. I want it to be the semi-historical arcade shooter I’ve wished so many other games would be. I love having bots around to give even the worst players an opportunity to get kills and have a good time. I love that weapon damage has a perfect balance of feeling good and lethal while also being forgiving of mistakes. I just want the game to grow in a healthy and fun way that invites players instead of aggravating them. I want people to want to pay for Enlisted because it is fun and addicting, not because they are compelled to if they don’t want to be constantly shat on.

I am done in Normandy, death squads murdering new players that can not have these as easy as I got them.

Yes I asked him about it and he said they implement it in one of the next updates:

bro they are wasting time on bullshit seriously, forum + reddit + discord agrees on getting silver orders via xp just by playing, now explain to me last week why they asked the community opinion, if from the answer of keofox, it can be clearly understood that the developers have not even begun to solve the Problem or they don’t want to solve it to get as many battlepass subscriptions as possible

This is the second time I’ve made a video and theyve nerfed it the next day :frowning:

EDIT: Oh wait did Keofox say it was a bug? Seems like it still works. All good!
