I just had extremely weird match, I was probably the only real player there. Literally no1 deserted.
I didn’t know Tunisia was this dead.

Eheh I’m split between 1911 and Hi power… But I already have so many 1911 from when I maxed Tunisia allies months ago…
1 silver instead of 3 is really nice for hi power! I’ll stock up on more Garands and some USMC springs, just cause I like them.

I bought a heap of m2 carbines when i unlocked them, but quickly retired them for garands again

I got a lot (well, about 10) m2 in Normandy, I find it plenty… Because I only use those in assaulters squads, and combat engineers.
My 9 men riflemen squads ALL use Garands… I just like that rifle so much.
Once war thunder br gets implemented, I’ll have many USMC Springfields at the ready. John would be nice, but too far ahead (I’m lvl 12…)
The match I just had made me realize something thought. At lvl 11, I dominated over fully equipped Japanese guys, with my starter bolties and greaseguns.
Now imagine me, vs only opponents with starter gear because of br… it will be a massacre, as I so expected. BR mm, will not help newcomers I fear.

yet the community pushed for a new MM and that is what the devs suggested
I know. Still won’t solve anything however. Newcomers will still get slaughtered, and will easily get targeted now, vets will just need to select low br for guaranteed newbies slaughter. Newbies will still complain, call hacks and stuff. Only difference will be that the vehicles slaughtering them, will APPEAR weak (at their lvl).
Br isn’t the solution, never was.

I’m not sure if it will be as bad as it sounds, but if it is, I think we will need a deeper form of skill based matchmaking.
Skill based MM is terrible idea for not competitive game. This isn’t LOL.
Skill based MM would completely kill off this game. I would probably just quit. I don’t want every match to be sweatfest.
Honestly, I think “it’s not good for newcomers” is terrible mindset or argument.
Majority of players are just casual, there’s many players that are playing on console.
And I myself was newcomer few months back. Never felt any need to censor better players from my/emey team.
Skill based MM is probably the worst shtt that could happen.
And using “newcomers” as arguments for your opinions is pretty lame.

At least the new comers will only be getting slaughtered by similar power weapons. The field will be more even

Everyone gets schooled when they are new to something. Pretty natural. We all started there part of the learning process to get better
And lets face it, when theres on average 1 person on each side out of 10 doing the destroying, its not like theres not 9 others for them to have a good opportunity versus.
Thats no different to any sport you play, there will always be the star players of the team.

i have been playing usa since the beginning of the update and the one before. essentially all the last three events.
and i noticed that the enemies have become “softer” or there are more players in the allies. therefore i have been able to win more times.
and i can say it has slightly been somewhat more balanced since then. ( and unironically it kinda helped me alot during events because as i was the only one pulling up a fight, i always gets more points and what not )
and now that i finally got my johnson mg is truly a great weapon. i’ll might be able to get the m2 carbine too before the new update.
for the others, i do suggest to to play the pacif too. but at the same time… eh…
i can see why not many people comes.
like, if you have a bad graphic, you’re gonna have an hard time seeing your enemy as both factions are mostly tan / green.
maps are good, but there are quite some choke points and often spawns in the clear enemy field.
tanks are light. which are both a blessing and a curse.
and lastly, airplanes ( again, both a curse and a blessing ) as those are a bit far, and can be deadly yet slow.
but as stated before, i highly suggest it for the allies as they can get the best infantry equipment for relatively quick levels and also for the japanese because those are new.

I just tried one random match as pacific allies after few months, was pretty chill.
lol, the second match was even more one sided. I spawned and first objective was already claimed by our team.
seems like meta has changed
