That might be the issue, P-51 doesnt have nice 20mm cannons to take out an aircraft in seconds so you want to stay behind the enemy aircraft and just keep firing at the lead indicator.

I dont have one for the P-51 because its one of the most common planes used at BR 3

to me you are an ace pilot, in fact I trust your experience on aircraft so much that I will support any of your aircraft related suggestions without a second thought.

So I suggest providing the P-51D-10 and P-51D-20 as BR3 and BR4 fighters, respectively.
If you can fly FW, you can surely fly P-51.
