Outrageous imbalance

Simply the best Axis players are currently playing Berlin to unlock the best weapons and craft (STG44 Sniper, Tiger 2, FG 42 II etc), leaving Normandy to mid-level players, who are destroyed by the more experienced ones who know that Normandy is currently the top campaign for the USA. The transformation from scenarios to nations is leading to the pursuit of the best weaponry, so that you are ready to upgrade.

In fact, I am not raising this issue just for Normandy, but at the same time that the sharper imbalance is taking place in Berlin and Tunis. On the contrary, the number of advanced players who play these campaigns is small, because it can be said to be “boring” for them.

Yeah better as in Allies will be able to have 3 paratrooper squads on rinse and repeat after the merge

However, this hellish spectacle has been played out every day in what is now Normandy. There was even a time when I was waiting for the squad to deploy and saw six U.S. airborne squads falling over our deployment point from a third-person perspective, which was enough to make me quit the game on the spot.

Tunisia is boring with Axis being the most boring faction to grind and play.

I wouldn’t care if this was all they would do.

F2P tunisia axis are boring*

Well. I wouldnt play them even if they give me the flamers for free.

sad*
I have to admit that the free players in this game are almost the snacks of paying players.

Flamers are boring, pz 3 n is real fun + that lame Goering bike just for trolling.

Free players were snacks well before paying.

Yeah, but until merge they are kinda in Normandy & Stalingrad.
But they’ll surely be true beasts soon.

You can be on the hunter’s side if you pay some money.

Not when your bullet trajectory is about as straight as RuPaul.

Yeah. I will fuck off to pacific until the paratroopers craze blows over.

Personally, I think the better solution is to adjust it on a PER-GAME basis. by weighing the teams in that match against each other, rather than just blanket all games with ridiculous “balancing” of point gain and cap rate.

The 2 main issues especially in Normandy are:

  1. The paratroopers having the construction hammer. (If this parts alone was removed it would help immensely.)
  2. Axis is generally at a disadvantage because they are more often on defense. As myself and others have pointed out a lot recently, the game is set up completely in the attackers favor. “Unlimited respawns” for the defenders at this point just means that the attackers can farm as many kills and points as they want. All it takes for them to take an objective is a couple flame squads, Para squads, etc.
Majority of games I check the scoreboard about 5 minutes in and there are about 6 players on average that quit out of the defenders side, and MAYBE one or two from attackers.

(Keep in mind that Normandy Campaign has more instances/ maps where Axis is guaranteed the defending force, such as the beach maps.)

It’s ridiculous.
Not worth listening to. You speak your desire as if it were fact.

Oh my god, if they added a Vietnam campaign, with hueys and door guns, and you have a competent pilot…

Apparently defenders spend most of their time looking at the front and a couple of pals from behind is complete mindfuck.

Which is why you use tanks, AA, planes, flamers, and radios on your own. And defenders can do the same with their own paras as well and get behind attackers line and so.
At this point, you must sit around and wait for the attackers to take the objective and do nothing.

“Such” would mean that there are more bout only Ver-Sur and D-Day have them as fixed defenders.
