Wipe their Silver to 0. Then, cap all their Event weapons at three per type, and hit them with a final, hardline warning.
This solution might be better for the community than just hitting them with a permaban out of nowhere.
Well I can’t wait to see a Napoleon Total video on this.
So, you might as well explain clearly what happened next - according to the witnesses I interviewed (as I didn’t personally experience the subsequent changes), the official’s subsequent approach was to simply cut off the players’ earnings, rather than modifying the problematic respawn points or AI mechanisms. Even more ironically, during the handling process, some normal players who were not stuck in bugs and were simply using the AI still suffered game resets.
In the long run, that incident was not so much “fixing the bugs” as it was using the guise of bug fixes to actually reduce the players’ earnings. With such incidents having occurred before, and now something similar happening again, how can I judge your actions?
Let’s come back to the game itself. Have those bugs that truly affect the experience been fixed? For instance, the issue where the AI, due to its tendency to avoid obstacles, is unable to jump over the sandbags - have you resolved this?
Let’s recall the past again. Christmas trees, ammunition boxes, medics, and even the famous “8-person zombie battle” - aren’t all of these map glitches? But what was the approach taken at that time? Was it data rollback, repair, rather than a large-scale ban on players?
So, may I ask, why is this Halloween bug not classified as a map bug? Is it actually a problem with the map design itself, or was it a bug “created by the players”? Please explain it clearly.
If this is caused by the map mechanism or design flaw, then punishing all players who have exploited it uniformly would be either fair law enforcement or merely punishing the innocent to establish authority. Your definition has always been very vague, and the final interpretation always lies in your hands. You can’t say that the bug occurred because the players “got stuck” - this bug has always existed in the game, hasn’t it?
If this is just a map bug, why is the solution to limit the number of bots and significantly reduce the revenue of custom missions?
I also curious if no one find this bug , would PVE custom mission today have 100% revenue? Just as promised by the developers at the very beginning.
…Honestly, developers did a terrible decision that time, and u’re just reminding me of that incident
I might be overly pessimistic about the outcome. The foreigners have now very firmly blocked their accounts, mainly because it’s an illegal attempt at profiteering. If there are indeed some people in there who are not in serious danger and managed to survive by accumulating zero points as a cost, then wouldn’t that be a slap in their face and a violation of their authority? Just like some wrongful cases, even if it’s wrong, it still needs to be dealt with; otherwise, where will your reputation be placed in the future?
These soul have been permanent release from this cyber prison. ![]()
What a kind act, DF.

Now, even as the top decision-maker and executor, they just don’t take action. Bugs from a year ago, bugs from two years ago, three years ago, four years ago - just by casually browsing through bug collection posts, I can receive all kinds of bugs that affect the gaming experience, and how long has it been like this? Previously, there was Fox to mediate the situation, but now he doesn’t even bother to do that.
Instead of banning you should give them permanent -200% booster or something. I think this is a bit too harsh
Rather, it is harsher than what was usually the case. The Chinese region has always been controversial. In some parts of the Russian forum or elsewhere, there are biases towards Chinese players or Chinese people. Such derogatory remarks are as common as drinking water.
Well if they do retract the ban, do you think they’ll gonna use an A.I cat to apologize?
To be honest, if we’re talking about disrupting the game balance, they don’t cheat by using hacks. Besides money, the only custom options are bots. So in an ordinary match, isn’t it just a matter of using the special weapons to gain an advantage? Can this be treated on par with cheating by using hacks and receive the same consequences
To be honest, if we’re talking about disrupting the game balance, they don’t cheat either. Apart from money, the only custom option is bots. When it comes to regular matches, it’s just a matter of using the special weapons to gain an advantage. That’s not really a big deal.
They basically did the job which should be done by your QA engineers…(aka testing game for any kind of issues(including abuse mechanics) and reporting it)
And you called this an abuse and ban all those who used it, instead of rewarding them for figuriting it out and testing it… What I can say, impressive way of thinking…
Do you really expect that this solution will boost anything except for hate in your way?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m against direct cheating aka using wallhacks/aimbots/etc. But this is definetly not “an unfair advantage”: no one feels this advantage, since it’s related to their personal account.
This is equal to say that all expirienced players shouldn’t play in BRI, since they ABUSE lack of splitting between different ranks(aka definetly a FLAW) and can easily farm new players with full trained/upgraded squads. So what? WIll you ban all expirienced players, since they also getting easy EXP + Silver?
Or even better event: there was a time period, when you could play vs full bots team in defense.
I was able to get ~200 kills in those kind of games.
I’m sure someone was able to get ~500-700 kills. Was it also an abuse of game flaw?
Lots of Chinese characters. (Or Japanese or Korean. Don’t sue me.)
I know most of the people on the list, and I’m glad to see them punished for exploiting these loopholes. They once showed off their cleverness to me, but time has proven that I, who resisted temptation, am the truly wise one.
It has to be said that since that visual optimization update, rather than the actual game content, it indicates that they have been avoiding the important aspects and focusing on the less crucial ones. Currently, the majority of the players are from China. I think it might be because this group did not offend the English-speaking or Russian-speaking players. So there is no need to worry about the same tactics.
But the punishment is the punishment. Whether the severity is biased is another matter. In reality, not all corrupt officials are sentenced to death. Moreover, in games, the main reason is that the crime is not severe enough to warrant the death penalty.
I’m sorry, but I don’t support your viewpoint at all. Banning accounts is actually the most mercy approach. They don’t even need to face additional legal proceedings. As far as I know, many people who exploited such loopholes in games have been sued by game companies
