Operation Koltso

Major is a CM. He’s the one that releases the news, so it’s inevitable that he faces the brunt of any backlash.

I’m a mod. I’m here to keep the peace and make sure you all play nicely together.

Punching bags though, we are not.

Not sure why people be hating on the muppet, he’s the only good mod.
Major on the other hand is some what reasonable, he rarely shows up due to the fact he left us for things that Actively Matter. And me personally, he doesn’t really talk to the community unlike the goat James

While we are waiting for the devs to Add basic paintjobs for each map by default and for free

Operation Kotlso (Ring or Circle in Russian) where the Soviet forces encirdled the Germans at Stalingrad, could have been a perfect opportunity to introduce some memorable, historical and immersive skins based on the tanks seen in the Battle of Stalingrad.

T-34 Tank No. 18 “Chelyabinsk Kolkhoznik” is a monument in Volgograd (ex Stalingrad), commemorating the conclusion of Operation Ring (Operatsiya Koltso). It is part of the “To the Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad” memorial complex on Mamayev Kurgan.

The monument is located on the northwestern slope of the hill, marking the spot where units of the 21st and 62nd Armies linked up on January 26, 1943. This maneuver successfully bisected the encircled German 6th Army, effectively sealing its defeat. T-34 No. 18 led the column of the 121st Tank Brigade (21st Army) during this breakthrough.

This specific tank was manufactured in December 1942, funded by donations from collective farmers (kolkhozniks) of the Chelyabinsk region. In total, over 90 million rubles were raised, enough to build 150 tanks, which formed the “Chelyabinsk Kolkhoznik” tank column.

Other options:

T-34 “Rodina” (Motherland)

KV-1 “Za Rodinu” (For Motherland)

KV-1 “155”

really excellent post - and a shame the devs did not make a bigger opportunity of this

I too wish Enlisted devs were genuinely passionate about WW2 and keen on attention to detail.

Seems like the game could use a mechanic where the model of a tank eg. T-34 switches depending on map

Why would I? “Motherland” slogans on tanks were very common.

In Berlin T-34-76 would be a very rare sight in any case.

I’ve only seen a handful of pictures of them being there, mostly in what looks like after-combat setting:
