well my fun is using gun in game and personally enlisted have done a good job on that imo
This should be easy to resolve: devs should add an “only WW2 skins” preference. If I select it, no childish outfits are expected on the battlefield, the event skins will degrade to plain old uniforms and weapons.
Win-win on boths sides, those who want can have it, those who don’t want it will not be forced to watch such “abominations”.

They already said they will consider adding a feature or filter for you why yall keep repeating this?

They also said they will improve custom matches (for example to make them more HA). Not to mention countless bugs that were fixed only to return in the next patch.

Skins really aren’t that bad. Really think no one used a bloodied gun in ww2? Really think there wasn’t a black medic? Really think there wasn’t a big bearded russian? Really think there wasn’t a single jap officer who didn’t wear his family’s armor? The german missing sleeves is really the most out of place thing here. Maybe they got burned off. I also bet you would never know if you fought against someone in game with a gun skin

I don’t want to ague, I just want to point out it’s not really a good argument.
Pz IV “Zombie” is edgy and unrealistic.
Sherman “Spikes” is edgy and laughable.
Blood wraps are whatever, not a fan but still edgy.
Japanese samurai is edgy and cringe af, no people don’t wear medieval “family armor” to fight Browning M2 or PPSh.
German Mad Hans - Führer Road is just ridiculous and edgy af.
The Russian guy and the American medic are alright, they get a pass.
We are clearly moving towards the things that made me leave BFV

What they’ve added is clearly over exaggerated or otherweise changed to be more “cool”. So it all depends on how tolerant you are to such things. Personally I’m not too tolerant as I’m affraid of escalation (also I simply don’t like how all this looks but I can live with this).
Example based on the samurai guy:
Let’s add a soldier wearing a skirt. I have a picture to support this claim:
Does it make sense? Completely not. But I have a picture that looks similar so let’s go and add it. And you can’t prove no soldier ever went fighting with a skirt.
