So as it currently is, normandy ‘suffers’ with people spawning in planes and rocketing/bombing then kamikaze’ing as they have no skill whatsoever to play prolonged air battles for supremacy.
Instead of doing stupid auto pull up, maybe the devs should bring realistic time to kill?
this is especially noticeable in germanys 109, i am aiming for the p38 wings but i have to unload unrealistic ammount of bullets to kill it. 20mm Minengeschoß should shred that airplane the momeny couple of the bullets connect…
on the other hand, the 109 seems to be made of paper, couple of bullets and you are heavily affected and/or dead

It takes no time for them to get into an approach where they’ll hit their target whether you destroy the plane or not. Quicker TTK only works if you spawnkill them.
To solve the kamikaze problem just give each player 2 or 3 attacker spawns per game. Problem solved. I do agree planes are way too tanky. HVARs do nothing.

i die in my german planes so much faster compared to how fast I can kill USA planes…
note, i usually win so maybe i aim wrongly? any tips?
The best solution, I feel anyway, is making the aircraft a more involved process… that is taking off from an airfield set some distance away, flying and then having to land to rearm.
if that sounds boring and would discourage you from flying aircraft that is the point, the point is that there needs to be some delay and some “space”.
This is a quite fast paced game consisting of infatry (even motorized), tanks, artillery and planes - I think spending 10 minutes on a single attack round would just make planes disappear. I love watching my teammates hunting down the enemy plane that just wrecked our last rush, while I’m preparing for the next. So I don’t think it would be a good move.
But I’m not flying planes so it’s just an opinion.
