sounds like a skill issue lol
Thankfully, my team has me in a plane blowing up Axis tanks with my rockets. I understand that its a bit hard to deal with tanks in grayzone, but if you already know its there then why dont you try to take flanks to not get your whole squad destroyed?
If you get your tank or engineer squad to one of the sides, you can easily take out any Axis tank and even basically spawn kill them at certain areas. That, or you can go commando with a explosive pack while hoping to not get seen by an enemy player.
Like anyone even read my post, or just looked at pictures, i made them just for illiteratate guys here.
I was on his team.
My problem was, he killed everything, i got boring ass match with nothing to shoot at. He gets rewardes for playing and shitting at the same time.
I was just talking generally, it wasnât meant for you.
yup, the tank xp nerf did almost nothing because the problem isnt that tanks are levelling too quickly, its that people are abusing the open maps to sit out of bounds and remain immune to what counters tanks. The planes to nuke tanks are unlocked much later than the tanks are themselves, so thats a pretty sore excuse.
My best games have been in a sherman or panther at the edge of the map lobbing HE at the cap points. It requires zero skill, zero tactical or strategic planning/knowledge and its boring as hell. But it also get me consistently 10-15k xp per win and 8-10k on a loss, and when youre grinding without tanks you get 8k on a 120 kill winning game and youâre next level is 350k awayâŚ
You see why people do it so much
Some think that the gray zone is necessary to avoid camping, but it is also true that many use it (the gray zone) to camp while shooting at the enemy from some sort of protected area (Example with German tanks on âD-Dayâ in Normandy )
The whole concept of the Gray zone should be redesigned to avoid the abuses for which it was created.
I share the opinion of another player who put the following:
âYou should be able to go anywhere and do anything you are capable of.
Having the enemy protected by god is just rediculous.
People went behind enemy line in real life without being smoted by god.
If your down a squad because one is sneaking up on the enemy, thats not cheating, its a tactic\risk.â
Possible solutions:
Reduce the gray zone and/or do not allow to shoot/repair from inside the gray zone.
Remove the Gray zone and replace it with a better design of maps, spawn points and spawn protection, to provide the necessary âCover/Protectionâ without having to resort to the use of the gray zone.
Hell yeah.
Maps are made by skilled craftsmen, and then some apes from google labs make some lame grey zones in paint in 10 seconds after playing it for 2 min, then just plop spawn points in random spot even if they are in line of sight of each other.
Itâa mixed bag of nuts and shit.
