Looks very much like

Ha-Ha! Now I ABSOLUTELY DON’T GIVE A F*UK about the lack of a front sight.
Would be nice if they just gave our current T20 the muzzle break that the T20E1 has (it’s actually a later T20 muzzle break, it was made before the T20E1), and gave the T20E1 a bayonet as well.
What is that? That’s a scope rail? Doesn’t look like it to me, where is anything supposed to lock in or stay connected? I don’t see a place for anything to be screwed in, tucked in or fastened to. Maybe it’s just intentionally thicker, so that you can screw on a scope mount?
Looking at how the scope is mounted on the M1C hasn’t enlightened be to why there’s a rectangular cutout there, it doesn’t seem to be using it to mount the scope:
Here’s btw what I meant for Japan:

Looks same to the japanese
I suppose it does, is it actually just there to provide extra metal, so you don’t weaken the rifle by screwing things into it? Then again, the Japanese one looks stouter…
One would think that, if the “more metal” theory is the case, why not use a uniform width? The Shape would suggest that you’d put some sort of block there to fill it in as part of the mounting process, but that’s not the case on the M1C… it’s clearly just screwed in, and I’m not entierly sure it’s screwed in only on the thicker part…
new US weapon:
40 rounds BAR machine gun for BR IV

Would like a field modified bar woth a grip and a 30 rould magazine as a reward for some sort of marine/pacific related event.

Well, the Germans have an FG 42 with a grenade launcher, I think this weapon should be an event or premium.
And the version with a scope would compete well with the FG42 sniper.
