you could suggest for the
68th Infantry Division
an actual unique soldier that actually existed.
such as Bruno Sutkus.
( … though he is a sniper … or… was )
considering they fought primarily on the early western front ( poland and france ) , and later on in russia as part of the operation barbarossa.
you could look for captured weapons.
and there, you have your premium / event squad.

Gas masks for everyone!
Someday I will wait for Soviet gas masks…
I thought about it, but I’m planning on making a post on the 442nd. Although I have no clue on what weapon they should get
could use the k98k with the shorter scoped that some people have been asking.
it would be an alternative sniper.
since unlike most, you can load it with stripper clips rather than each bullet individual.
at the cost of zoom within the scope it self.
( even though the real life soldier used the longer scope ).
… and would still be a sniper squad instead of an assaulter.
but still.
more fitting to the supposed special soldier and regiment it self.
beside, some more focus on snipers even if unpopular.

Well, this comes from playing online games like Vod when I was younger, but I don’t like snipers. Not one bit
albe it map-situational,
i think they can be very effective at sniping engineers, tank commanders … silence machinegunners or threats on top of roofs. and… not much else.
they are more effective and “scarier” in Lone fighter.
Which still exists and is regularly played though.
( still by a large miniority. but still )
