If you mean it like that there is many options, best would be one of Ki-49. I meant it like on pair in performance with A-20 having its 6 front mounted 50. cals and 3 more in turrets it can easily kill any Japanese bomber, while they have only turrets with some MG or cannons.
Another part of this game is that it is asymmetrically balanced so I think it’s not that big of a deal ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Recon plane should be the ability of fighter pilot, not the radio operator !!!
Fighter pilot flies above the battlefield and uses the “camera”, which gives the rest of the team STATIC positions of enemy soldiers and vehicles (on the map), but only on the area which was caught on the “photo”.
The camera should have 100- 200 sec. cooldown for the whole team.

Well those would basically be Rocket Artillery like in my post. I was also thinking that rocket artillery could also be implemented as an Engineer buildable for Mortar squads.
Anyway the more toys for this sandbox the better
Plus the same “idea” can be implemented in multiple ways because they have different applications, for example the A20 being a flyable plane and the current American bombing run.

The Japanese and soviets didn’t really have night vision weapons, but the soviets could use captured German Zielgerät 1229s and the Japanese could use special binoculars which had night vision and could be jerry-rigged onto rifles (not technically historically accurate but whatever.)
I doubt we would get night maps, the “night combat content” would just be regular content nonetheless. At the end of the day the Stg Vampir and M3 are just fancy scopes anyway
