A resupply base or technically a weapons cache for both teams at their spawns or near the objective where they can change their squad or get more supplies for building or re arm themselves for the next objective.

Although it makes sense in theory, wouldn’t it become kinda counterproductive?
It would be a reason for players to LEAVE the cap zone.
This seems EXREMELY exploitable.
Also, engineers should be putting up ammo boxes as it is.
Despite being an engineer main (as everyone knows at this point), I would disagree. If you need more materials, run in, die, get a new squad, use their materials.
While some degree of intent to survive should be present, focusing on staying alive the whole game with a single squad should not be the main concern here.
Prepping for the next wave/ objective should be.
That is true but it saves you from having to use the kill button and If you lose a few men in your squad you can use it to replenish your soldiers or changed the squad altogether
True but if there are some structures possibly we get in the future which require more materials it’ll be nice to resupply
That would remove a lot of players will to keep pushing in the heat of a battle though. Flamethrower squads for example:
They order their troops to stay back, run in with the two flamethrowers, die, then take the rest of their squad back to that point just to get more flamethrowers.
Instead of running in full force, doing what they can, dying, and coming back with another squad.
Then let’s wait for those structures to come in, before we suggest a way to resupply materials.
If you need more materials, bring more engineers.
That’s true but there’s a way to counter it planes could destroy them if your team marks them or planes nowhere the spawns are it’ll give them flyboys something to do
Mortars are back, yay.
Pacific already has that problem flame tank flame troopers and an event which will give you a plane Which can drop some sort of fireball or something so Pacific is already there on the Allies side anyway
