New concept: Specialized troops, divers and sleds in various terrains
I know that many people would like to see the soldiers riding on sleds.
– Those elite special forces who display their prowess in the icy and snowy terrain.
I know that many people would like to see the soldiers riding on sleds.
– Those elite special forces who display their prowess in the icy and snowy terrain.

However, due to various reasons, we were unable to incorporate it into our battlefield.
Because –
The Americans and the Japanese do not have such forces.

  1. How can this effect be achieved?

I have put forward some of my own ideas here.
The Americans and the Japanese do not have suitable sled soldiers, but we can replace them with another unique type of soldier - divers.
These soldiers wear diving masks, so they don’t have to worry about being unable to breathe underwater - they can remain hidden beneath the sea all the time! And after the divers receive training, their swimming speed will be faster than that of ordinary soldiers.
(Just like in our last World War I activity - by putting on the masks, we could switch our states in just a matter of seconds. It’s that simple.)

  1. The sled soldiers are the same. By pressing a certain key, they can put on the sled and move even faster! However, it cannot be used inside buildings or outside of the snow-covered areas.
Sled soldiers and AI soldiers are prone to getting lost in certain terrains. So we can set it up like this: When the AI soldier is far away from the squad leader without any command, he will deactivate the sled mode and switch to running to catch up with his commander.

This may not necessarily enhance the combat effectiveness of your troops.
But it is definitely an interesting concept.
Do you all hope that this distinctive unit will join our game?

i like to see more special forcers. maybe marines that spawn in a boat?

divers won,t help that much. but 6 men armed to teeth in a boat. able to spawn in rally in foot has well, is another talk.

has for apline special forcers, it will be cool. if they can spawn in some exclusive points of the map.

I have thought of a Mountaineer class. They would just have increased climbing speed, jumping, and can hold their breath longer; and their special building would be Mountain Guns

Sure they don’t sound that too compelling but I just want Mountain troops to be represented

Divers/ sleds would just be another feature that only makes sence on specific maps which given the current MM is kinda bad.
Divers would just end like the chinese squad which are only fitting on 1 or 2 specific maps (Burma and manchuria) but kinda an eyesore and imersion breaking everywhere else.

Having divers in the ardennes would just looks very silly and sleds storming berlin would also be equally strange looking.

moutaineer class will amazing,

i would make it have special spawn point, ( IN MOUNTAINS ) of course. AND, heavy machine guns, since they are premiun/event, will have also light machine guns, plus somekid of equipment OR perk that allow to move easy in hills.

those guys will definitive rocks. has a special forcers similar to paratroopers.

Has for diver i look more to a aphibius assault crew in a boat. maybe dive to. but the boat is absulute needed.

sounds OP, but we talking specail forcers dudes.

And where do you put that boat when you are on an urban map?

There are maybe 10% of the maps that include water and on those even less where a boat would be kinda usefull as the maps are designed for normal land forces.

they can spawn in rally point in foot, considering they will carry SMG/Assault rifles AND six men squad, they can werak a havoc.

I also suggest you read this topic.

If we ever get active preset in game, this will cool to.

I’m not so sure about a Diver class, but I definitely think we should get a Marine Class. Sure it would mostly be able to do its signature amphibious spawn on Pacific maps but there are possibly some other maps where it could work. For example a Crimea map on the Eastern Front

Either way it can still have the option to spawn on the ground like Paratroopers. I just think Marines should be represented with their own class

dive is,t that bad. think a while. you got a boat. ok? then some hell ( HMG or tank fire ) beguin kill all your guys, you just drop the boat, and dive.

but hell yeah, a boat is a lot faster and a lot more pratical. but diving should be also a feature in this Special forcers squad, not forgueting to deploy they in ground has well.

Enlisted is a World War II historical game, not a World War II casual sightseeing game. :unamused:

The soldiers riding on sleds were one of the most spectacular scenes of World War II.
Whether it is the renowned German mountain scouts, or the Soviet sled cavalry who shone brightly in the snowy plains.
And the divers were a rather distinctive special forces unit during World War II.
They can be made to only display this special equipment on the appropriate maps, and on the inappropriate maps they can be deployed as regular infantry - but they can retain their distinctive uniforms (for example, the German hunting soldier’s attire! Even in the city, they are still a unique presence).

Are you denying the existence of these troops?
They are also a part of history - and a very remarkable part. Although the history of our battlefield has already been in a state of chaos

After all, we are not a stuffy and serious museum; rather, we are a game.
The game, while retaining a touch of historical flavor, requires better gameplay.

However, Enlisted is currently only a work in progress; you can only make minor modifications within the existing framework, rather than starting from scratch.

So, you won’t be able to become a game developer; Because you are just a lazy guy.

Our game requires new elements, new things.
Rather than constantly worrying about rank adjustments and bulletproof vests.

Of course, I admit that our previous attempts were not very satisfactory.
But at least you tried. That’s much better than just lying there like that.

Therefore, Enlisted is currently only suitable for minor tweaks, as War Thunder has already captured a larger market share. Enlisted is like a baby in swaddling clothes; you can’t accuse a young child of doing nothing.
