There is a lot of options for armored car AB-43 will be nice addition. But it needs to come with Italian squad :smiley:

Also will this be like bombers and attackers? Two separate squads for 2 separate types of AFVs?

Well no here you can use 2 tanks or 1 tank and 1 armored car or 2 armored cars they just take one of the tank slots in combat they are just more aggressive tankers that you can use as assaulters guerilla squad. However only 2 people can play them at a time and they take the tank spawn slot so its up to you will you prefer a tanker squad or Light Armored Reconnaissance if you are more risky player :smiley:

Please be more clear if they take a tank slot you could have
2 tanks
Or
1 tank 1 armored car
Or 2 armored cars

Or are you saying
1 tank and 2 armored cars
If the first it’s just a tank :+1:
But that might cheese a lot of people seeing one of two tanks slots gone

Well normally in game you have 2 tank slots this uses the same tank slots you cant have more then 2 tanks at a time. So you can have 1 tank and 1 armored car or 2 tanks or 2 armored cars its up to the team but you cant go over the limit of 2 armored vehicles per team. Nothing different then equipping a normal tank squad it uses same slots in game it changes nothing its just variety to the tank class. Despite being normal class it cant increase the maximum number of armored vehicles that is 2 for a team at the moment. Its not like planes where you need to have ground attacker and a fighter in separate slots here you literally use the armored vehicle slot. Its basically a unique tanker squad with different mechanics.

as always you are patient and eloquent Yoshiro, i just want to maintain the infantry to armor ratio. it s not fun when you have two tanks on screen slaughtering two squads of infantry turning iit from a combined arms game to a shooting gallery. enlisted is at its best when its rock paper scissors, tank beats soldier, plane beats tank

Well I made it simplistic it focused on lower BRs to be for more aggressive tanker players that don’t want to camp at the edge of the map its guerilla squad for tank players. :smiley: Since armored cars are weaker then tanks here you can easier outflank tanks with it or points however they dont have much armor so they are easy to counter by infantry but you can hunt apcs ,take points do a lot of stuff with such squad.

It should have some scouting capabilities, autocannons should be buffed for more splash damage, it shouldn’t take a tank slot.
Sadly the current team composition doesn’t really support an addition of a dedicated scout car or other support classes, very little players remain to do actual combat if everyone is in a vehicle.

Well thats why I made it to just be using the existing tank slots so you must pick will you spawn a tank or a scout car so you can scout with the car mark your targets and destroy them. It can be even buffed after you mark a target with this class to remain until it dies but will make them more unique tank class :smiley:

it absolutely shouldn’t take a tank slot and you know it, it’s simply not the same value, imagine you have 2 scout cars against 2 t-34s

Well all the armored cars are BR I and BR II. If there is interest I can make higher BR vehicles for this squad.

What is the point of reworking them then if you’re balancing them like normal tanks?

Since normal tanks cant enter enemy lines this is to make tankers play more aggressive. Not to mention they are fast and have 6 mans squads with SMGs that you can go and take a point with. Simply its different flavor to the tank class. its giving advantage to less armored vehicles to be able to ambush more armored vehicles. Since right now the game favors more armor.
