And you are missing the point, I said planes in general need to be nerfed…I personally only play Axis on Normandy and therefore that is what I have experience in, hence the title.
A plane can destroy a tank, thats fine. But a starter P-38 can destroy a Panther in one shot does not seem right to the people who grind to get up that far.
Yeah, planes are meant to be used strategically to take out campers, on this we agree. However, it is the fact that a rocket to the front armor or next to a panther or Jumbo on a low level plane immediately is an insta-kill
Thats fine by me. Gives a starting player a chance to take out someone who wants a farming simulation in their Panther or Jumbo. If the players team marks tanks and he makes the shot I call that a great show of teamwork

And yes, I have had bombs take out my crew in tanks but leave the tank untouched…I believe that is a bug that happens rarely.
I agree with you, however a bomb from a low level plane that drops onto the roof or other side of an adjacent building is usually able to decimate a tank
You should of played before planes were nerfed. Now the effect is maybe half what it use to be. If you get killed by a plane simply respawn as infantry and keep playing. Since I rarely see plane spam anymore something tells me you spend alot of time in tanks and get targeted.
Planes are in a far better place now then they were and any further nerfs would only buff tanks

I did play before the nerf. And it got a whole lot better I agree…but something feels different in the past few updates with the bomb and rocket capabilities. And of course I spend time in my tank lol, its a panther. Worked hard for that
I think a good solution would be matchmaking systems in place so a beginner player does not have to face a Panther up front or vice versa.
Id like a mixed match maker. Say 2 max level players, 5 players in mid levels and the rest low leveled players so you atleast have an equal opponent on each side and top level gear on each side.
Making just equal tier match making would create huge que times and segment the player base more

And? Thats the way the game works.
Thats the point of the P-38 G and the Bf-110, to give the new players a fighting chance. Just because you have an MP 43/1 doesn’t mean a new player shouldn’t be able to kill you with a M1903 Springfield, and just because you have a Panzerfaust doesn’t mean a Stuart shouldn’t be able to machine gun your whole squad. You may have grinded out the whole tech tree, but new players still should have the ability to fight back, even a matchmaking system is implemented. The only thing about the P-38 G that really needs changing is the bug where it takes the attacker slot. Furthermore, the M8 rocket is used in more than just one plane, so asking the devs to nerf the ones on the P-38 G is just a dumb suggestion.

Normandy was, and still is, a bomb fest. To reassure you, bot sides are getting annoyed by CAS just as badly.

tried some “strafe” runs with planes recently, and while it is possible to kill infantry with its MGs, the view distance kinda only lets me see infantry when i am too close to open fire.
So a “one hit kill” with plane MGs would be not OP at all, might be right, more dmg vs planes vehicles and everything in general would keep ppl at the fight.
I see this guy wasn’t around before the bomb nerf

You can OHK tanks with TNT, bombs, PIAT, Bazooka, Panzerfaust and nade signal pistol, let alone tank grenades. So why shouldnt rockets OHK a tank if they hit the required area?
BAR is no machine gun. Yet it is treated as a MG by US and Enlisted.
Then how it is related to US planes if this is a bug of 50kg bombs in general?

And you are missing the point dude…I said all planes for all factions not just one American plane. I only have experience on the Axis side and therefore that is my reference. I understand the game mechanics.

lol the Bar a sub machine gun a submachine gun means it uses pistol caliber ammunition it is more classified as an Automatic Rifle

just no. play the game more and learn that everything in enlisted is OP as you can kill with it very easily nothing needs a nerf.
Threads like this are the reason that unnecessary nerfs are made don’t to be quick to jump too assuming something is overpowered as it has a negative effect on the game and community if that thing is nerfed.
Then whats the point with the title?
The M2 is closer to an AR than the BAR to an SMG.

just learn to play, if a plane kills you in a tank, then whatever! planes are literally hard counter to a tank. the only thing about planes that needs changing is how some of them flying (lookin at u fockewulf) and how hard they can be to shoot down.
