Agreed. Preferring any bolt over the mannlicher at br2 is, in my admittedly very inexperienced opinion, nuts. The mannlicher is crazy good.

Yes, people can have different opinions about different guns, but you literally made a post asking other peoples’ opinions about your loadout, so … My opinion is that anywhere you have a bolt rifle that isn’t a mannlicher, you should replace it with a mannlicher.

Good enough? Certainly! The Panzer 3M is excellent, two assaulter squads for low br is good, actually using an apc, Pre-war k98s and Mp40s are solid even if they aren’t the absolute BEST options. I’m not seeing anything egregiously bad here at all. If you’re looking for recommendations though…?
You have two gold order soldiers here. The xp bonus they give you doesn’t stack though so you should take one of them and put them in either your apc or radio squad so they can also get the 20% bonus. Also, this is an Assaulter squad but you only have one assaulter in it. It’d be best if you swap out the rifleman in there for more assaulters.
Personally, I don’t bother with shovels on any of my guys and only use axes for the faster charging but shovels still have their uses so that’s dealer’s choice, I suppose.
I think you should take the TNT off your engineers and put in AT mines instead. The AT mines are to protect any rallies you build. AP mines could also work but since they nerfed them a while back they aren’t as useful anymore. You build the rally then place the AT mine on top of it so if someone shoots at your rally, they might hit the mine instead and kill themselves or they destroy the rally, drop the AT mine which detonates it, which will also kill them. This, of course, is assuming you’re building rallies in good spots where people cant just shoot it from far away.
Finally, i’d take the radioman squad and replace it with either a rifleman or another assaulter squad because even in low br, a 5 man squad is not exactly ideal. Overall though, not a bad setup, glad you’re having fun with the game!

I think that is about when I started playing, like Feb 2022.
On German faction bolt action rifles, I actually like the Carcano Mod 38 the best, although I only play bolt action in custom matches and have never been great using them. In general game action I have so many assaulter squads and limited number of riflemen, so I use BP Scotti Mod X and Pavesi M42 semi auto rifles. I have four of each so I use no bolt action rifles in BR 2, other then maybe as a radioman backup.

i normally try to do ‘‘accurate’’ squad representations and i do love using bolt actions, i take the pick of shovels cuz normally i set traps for enemy tanks on the battlefield, which AT mines could be usefull in such traps, the Radio Operator i normally keep for invasion games where i gotta attack which they are quite usefull in those aspects, i normally build rallies in a 20-30m radius of the point, if we’re defending i also normally put an APC if the position is favourable to our troops.

i nromally only use the Kar98k Pre War cuz i like the Kar98k itself and the Pre War is the best variant in game, even thought i usually rather the standard K98k due to it better sights and not having that big stats dif to the pre war when fully upgraded, i’ll still stick to what i got and im quite happy with how im playing with it, its OP enough lmao

But if You want to try something more interesting use the armaguerra semi auto rifle and if You dislike semi autos just use mannlicher 1895 unless You care about HA stuff

i normally like having fun with the game and joking around, i replaced my GRB 39 for the Solothurn anti tank rifle per example, just for the fun of it, i love AT rifles but most of them are very weak, the PTRS, the Japanese one and the Solothurn are the best ones tbh
The only Kar98’s I use in the game is this one nine man rifle squad. I use it only in custom matches, and my other two nine man rifle squads all carry the Carcano Mod 38’s.
