Multiple Rally Points

Fair, but it is funny putting AT mines on my rally’s.
I love rally points because they :

I don’t really like HLL style run 5 ks to the objective game play but I respect some people like realism or immersion but mil sims aren’t really my taste. In an ideal world there would be a realistic mode a bit like in WT.
I can’t say I like building them ether tbh but it is rewarding and important.
APC’s are generally more enjoyable (would definitely need tweaking if they were the only other spawn).

I guess I really wouldn’t care if people could build additional rally points, however I would decrease the time it takes to build them by a couple of seconds. Maybe taking less time to build would inspire more people to build them.

To be honest, I wouldn’t be crushed if buildable rally points were removed from the game altogether and replaced with fixed rally points.

My first suggestion is halve the build time (or eliminate it altogether). Unlike building defenses and guns and things, you shouldn’t be interrupted while building rallies (if you’re doing it right), so the build-speed isn’t really a factor in the “strategy” of it all, it’s JUST an annoyance that takes you out of the game. Since you can only have 1 up at once it’s not like you can spam them if they speed up the build time.

If it’s that easy, more people should have it up.

Maybe lock all other engineer buildables behind the rally, as in, if you don’t have an active rally you can’t build anything EXCEPT a rally until you do.

Maybe increase points, again, for building and for people spawning on them.

Also, make them harder to kill, they should require explosives or sloooooow un-building like hedgehogs, so not every single soldier in every circumstance can take them out. Would mean the rallies that DO get built will stay up longer.

I don’t think the solution is to take people who do build them (me) out of the game for longer to toil in the rally factory. It’s not just the build time. I can’t be in multiple places at once, so setting up 3 flanking rallies by myself, that means I’m gonna get my first kill 2 minutes into the game after running hither and yon and then hammer, hammer, hammer, hammer, and pretty soon you’ve actually made the problem worse, because i get fed up with STILL being the only one with rallies up, and i stop building them altogether.

Ultimately i think the quickest solutions that will yield immediate results, if meager ones, would be to increase the points per spawn, and make rallies harder to destroy.

Rally’s currently have the endurance of wet tissue paper so yeah I agree, and reducing the build time might make more people bother to build them in the first place so yeah I also agree.
my main reason for wanting to be able to build more is because they are so delicate and APC’s with the exception of the universal carrier are big targets so they get wiped pretty easy and most good hiding spots are pretty well known. I agree with most of what you say it’s quite fair.

I would also add that if you could build 3 rallies, APCs would become less useful (at least as rally points). And i think that would be a shame. Incentivise people building rallies, don’t fundamentally change the system. Quicker build time and more points per spawn, ESPECIALLY, when silver chests are on, will encourage people to build them. And when they realize they have a better W:L ratio, some of them will keep doing it even when silver chests go away.

Also, with events, forget about “50 smg kills” or whatever. Literally everyone is already spamming SMGs. 50 rally spawns (or even 30) over 2 days. That’s like 3 games for me, so easier than “play 4 games.” Event rewards tied to rally spawns would go a looooooong way towards fixing the issue.

So what? In Enlisted, it’s somewhere between 100 and 150 meters from the base spawn to the objective.

It won’t take much longer. But deaths would actually mean something. Because both teams would have the same respawn capabilities most of time.

As of now, it’s just about who has more rally points. And that’s pretty much everything that matters. You will just overrun enemies with bodies.

If the rally points are not supposed to be removed, then the cooldown should be increased, at least to 30 seconds between squads.

There are some event tasks that include 30 APC and rally spawns. If you mean directly tied yes that would help even more.

Yes, decrease the build time for rallies.

Thats probably the easiest way to get people to build them.

In Hell Let Loose the rallies are built very quickly.
They should be built instantly in Enlisted.

Yes I stand by that

If anything add a realistic mode for people who want to slog it out and have a more immersive experience. I am a UT99 player at heart, I just want to get into the action and have fun without taking forever to get to the point and ending up with 1/9th of my 9 man infantry squad by the time I get there. Rally’s alone don’t win games alone, they definitely help but you need to clear the point and rush it together as a team (you probably already know). I disagree with you because I like the arcady experience over ‘just another mil sim’, by all means make Gaijin add a realistic mode and let that have proper campaigns and no rally’s and other things the community thinks appropriate.

Technically you can have “2 Rallypoints” at the same time - 1 Rallypoint built and 1 with an APC.

It might help for low br match that have inexperienced player which don’t build much rally. But I don’t think it will be good to play on high br match since you will simply see 10+ rally point. Good luck on destroying all of it.
