The MP 38 should be dropped to BR I. It’s fire rate is only 490 (non-upgraded) and the rest of its stats are nothing crazy. Nerf it’s recoil and make it similar to the Sten Mk II and drop it to BR I.

As you can see the MP 38 is more comparable to BR I SMGs. It also is barely used when it’s at the same BR as the MP 40. Please lower it to BR I.

I agree. It needs some nerfs but after that it would fit perfectly in br 1. Germany has too many br 2 smgs anyway

not opposed to br changes, i am opposed to moving weapons without changes to a lower br
because while they may have been bottom of x they would be top of y

As mentioned already, if nerfed to fit BR1, I would welcome it greatly, the MP34 is just a bit weird to use for BR1, but tbf the only people with SMG’s in my german BR1 are my tankers and pilots.

I don’t play BR1 with the Germans, but I would say to drop the MP-38, it will never be used in BR2, but would in BR1. I would also say if the Dev’s are NOT going to give a buff to the FNAB to actually make it a BR2 worthy SMG, drop it to BR1 as well.

With Nerfs it can go to BR1, it will be much more usable than in BR2 and I wanted to give my German soldiers in BR1 a good German submachine gun, not the Berreta M38A

I’m sorry my friend, I’m the kind of guy who doesn’t think two weapons should magicly have different stats when the only change between the two models is manufacturing based…
If anything, I want the MP 38 to be even closer to the MP 40, just as I want the SMLE Mk III (Rifle No. 1 Mk III, to use it’s correct name) to be as close to the No. 4 Mk I as possible. Player choice on if they want to make a early war or late-war setup (or, in the case of the Commonwealth, a Dominion specific setup). All without sacrificing competitiveness.

it will look great with a 32 round mag
SMG recoil doesnt effect us veterans to be honest - deviation and total accuracy matters much more, and rate of fire matter even more than accuracy. I actually do prefer STEN over MP40.
I think we should nerf PPS43 and BR2 Thompson instead - Br2 SMGs should have low power.

or just move all 30 round thompsons to br3
the 30 round thompson is not a br4 smg
