Thats like saying a volkswagen is equivalent to a lamborghini because they are both cars
I look at it as motorcycles and cars are supposed to be infantry first. The vehicle is just to get them to the zone, while armored cars are supposed to be combat vehicles (like all the others) whose job is to kill the enemy and support infantry.
I see combat vehicles as
- armored cars
- light tanks
- medium tanks
- heavy tanks
- tank destroyers
- artillery
- anti-air
- flamethrowers
It’s like the Panzer II is a weak German tank but for better or worse it’s gotta support the team. Whether you’re a Tiger II or Panzer II. They both share the same slot
Which to some extend works at low BR where you face subpar smg’s entirely inadequate LMGS and BA’s.
As well as the absence of full meta squads.
While on higher BR’s motos / cars doesnt exactly provide any cover and inf guns becomes better and better.
As well as the meta loadouts are more than frequent, higher the BR is.
So not sure how armored cars couldnt work on higher BRs
so you’re asking for type II off road class?

Ok well if they’re adding cars with rockets strapped to the top… then I don’t think this is that much of a stretch anymore.
However I’m against it as it would result in a 5th player having the option to sit in a vehicle… or 6th in this case as you can have 251/9 up and this… hell even 7 out of 10 people in the game sitting in vehicles (which would result in loss but is beside the point… or really IS the point)
But yes, it is currently a waste of tanker slot… I cannot deny that.
T18E2 would probably go to BR3 is covered on 30mm armor It gets 122mm Pen APHE and is a lil fast
And this car don’t is on WT soo I doubth they will ever add It here they could add the AEC MK2 that one would be br2 with the same gun of the crusader but one wheels

I am voting for the Sd.Kfz. 221 to be moved to the Off-road class as BR I. Personally, I think all the off-road vehicles should be BR I, with the exception of the premium Bazooka Jeep and possibly the German Kübelwagen premium, since these have engineers capable of building every emplacement.
That said, I fully agree that the Sd.Kfz. 221, with its pathetic gun, two-man crew, vulnerability to both anti-tank rifles and small-arms fire that can easily depopulate it, and weak armor, has no place in the Armor branch - especially at anything higher than BR I.

Though I fully agree, sadly, Enlisted has too few players per side (only 10) to properly support such a split.

This vehicle is really awful and not even worth it to be used even on BR 1 due to the very obvious downsides. The biggest one being of course, it’s considered as Tank and occupies a precious tank slot which otherwise, you would have gotten a far, far better vehicles in that place instead. Making this vehicle as off-road vehicle seems like the only logical solution left to do to make this vehicle at least being used, even sometimes at least.
i honestly think they included it as an insult to Germany players… in the same event as a heavy tank using a 105 mm cannon with exceptional armor they chose to include… this.
seems like they abandoned the concept of even rewards (yes i know at-44 is vastly superior to horn stg… at least they are similar)

Its also weak to incendiary weapons like molotovs and phosphorus grenades. Not to mention the new Russian Zukerman squad.
