Throwing explosives at the point isn’t destroying tanks.
Yet you do.
It was to be expected from someone who came to the game forum only to downwote peoples’ ideas and insult them.
No.
You’ll never achieve the adorable pace of Verdun/Tannenberg/Isonzo in this game.
The factor that mostly influences these titles is the WW1 setting - with overall the same type of weapons for everyone. As in the setting of WW2, automatic and semi-automatic weapons change everything.
Give the players an auto and they’ll start rushing like there’s nothing to lose.
Aside, Verdun/Tannenberg come with a fully working squad mechanic of human players instead of a shitty or even non-working squad AI. Squad leaders’ orders are visible for the squad members on the map. And they put a real effort in making the maps completely balanced with no advantage for any side.
As we speak about it, I think I’ll switch back to these titles, since they are possibly the most balanced and most fun to play shooters ever created.
Realism…the high demand of “realism” in Post Scriptum (as a perfect reference to Enlisted) lead to a very very small, yet enthusiastic, community. It doesn’t sell well and is currently also on a downward way.
what u want n…b?
We already have 2 topics:
Obviously implementing more ‘realistic’ mechanics will make the game more slow-paced.
So, as a compromise, should the devs implement ‘arcade’ mode for those wanting more fast-paced play, like in warthunder?
Increase dispersion and I’m uninstalling immediately. Vast majority of people are asking for dispersion to be removed or at least reduced dramatically. Awful suggestion
Report this shithead, don’t talk to him. He doesn’t have a single comment where he doesn’t insult people or at best tells them to play different games.
Verdun,Tannenburg,Isonzo all have automatic weapons. The reason they are slow paced is a combination of factors like health, speed of movement, amount of time it takes to get back in the fight, Etc. there are plenty of slow paced WW2 games like post scriptum and He’ll let loose.
why are players so much against that though? i remember back in alpha tests, there was a period of time dispersion was a lot higher and game was actually balanced and fun, not tryhard-fest we sometimes see now… weapons also felt like actual weapons ant not laser beam projectors we got now…
I hope you realize that in real life bullets go we’re you point the gun and don’t take some random path of there own like they do in the game. If anything have no dispersion would make the weapons in the game actually feel like weapons
Freedom of speech, no need to be trying to silence people because they offend someone.
Yup, devs need to rework the recoil instead
Agreed
You kind of sound like a liberal and where I come from it’s practically a curse word
Texas?
Actually feel like weapons with dispersion? Clearly you have never fired a gun lol
The autos are on fixed positions - hard to rush with em, hm?
Plus, in comparison to Enlisted, the MGs need to be fed with ammo.
If you want people to miss more often add sway to the game instead of dispersion.
Sway can be countered with skill and experience while dispersion is pure RNG.
Of course some dispersion should be in game. We don’t want people being headshoted with a pistol from the other side of the map.
If they add a real recoil system then dispersion will be completely unnecessary. Dispersion is nothing but a very lazy replacement and only makes games worse imo. If my bullets aren’t going where I’m aiming then what’s the point of playing
