But you will not bring your Leopard/Abrams/whatever else to massacre early war tanks on low BRs. You will fight with the people who have similar vehicles to you.
And again - this was hipothetical situation. I wonder if you would be ok after logging to the first battle after wipe and getting instantly destroyed by some guy who already bought his way to mortars/MGs/high level tanks
If the system allows to do such things then the system doesn’t work properly.
Actually, you cannot. There is a thing called “convertible RP” and you cannot boost research without it.
You get this RP just like the normal RP, so you can “only” get double the progression you would have made without directly buying research.
In enlisted, no such limitation exist.
And there are plenty of whales who will pump in at least 500$ to get ahead of everyone else - mind you, if they keep on playing as actively as the average player, there is no chance said average player will ever catch up, meaning they will always be the first getting to that “next stage” of being stronger than everyone else, such as being the first to unlock the vitality perk for the majority of their soldiers.
I know what Convertible RP is, I’ve been on that game since CBT way back in 2013. At this point I assumed everyone has billions of convertible RP due to how easy it is to get.
Though, I was talking about the stock grind, you don’t need convertible RP for that, you can just outright buy it with GE. You only need convertible RP to unlock vehicles. Practically the same as buying an end-game weapon here to skip the awful stock grind.
New players do not have it, and nobody would have it after an account wipe, which is about to happen here.
Well the thing is, you aren’t just “spading a tank” with money here.
better comparison would be starting out with a stock M1 Abrams and buying a spaded Leo2A6.
I was just added to the Monetization test today and it looks pretty horrible. Wouldn’t mind the part where you can pay to go through an entire campaign level, but everything else is lame.
I’m only open to the idea of paying through campaign levels because grind after Level 12 sucks ass. Plus I’d like to get my hands on semi-automatic rifles in the Moscow campaign sooner.
Yeah, but how many times you will be melted by high tier and premium weapons in the process?
It just isn’t fair for the new players when they just start the game and get slapped in the face by much stronger enemy (stronger because he had money).
Sure it can, as long as that maxed soldier is not having health perk… then it would most of the times look more like this: Https://streamable.com/amx5sd
thanks @113187731
Soldiers have 10 health
With health perk, which is +35%, they have 13.5 health
Starter rifles deal 13 damage, the lowest damage among bolt action rifles
As such, they physically cannot oneshot a full health premium soldier, who have this perk by default.
Meanwhile, they have bonus damage on their SMGs, allowing them to two-shot your soldiers with fully automatic laser weapons.
when these premium and hightier weapons come that make all weapons useless? if they dont nerf exp it wont take too long to get first smg’s and better rifles that are totally capaple of killing any infantry
Problem with premium weapons and those squads being pure P2W is present since they arrived to Enlisted.
Problem with high tier weapons appeard when that monetisation test was introduced and showed that it is possible (with great ammount of money, but still possible and I’m almost sure there will be people who will do that) to buy your way straight to the best weapons in game. In few days we are going into OBT and all progress will be wiped. We will all start with starter squads composed of 4 soldiers with base BA rifles. How it is fair to sealclub all those players just because you have money?
And another thing: this in not only monetisation problem. It is present because of the way progression is handled - things you unlock are simply better than things with which you start. And there is no matchmaker to seperate new players and players with high tier gear
yes that vitality perk MIGHT be problematic but most time who start shoot first will win. Good luck outgunning any ppd with taht so overpoweredp2w mp41.
Well of course if you fuck up that hard you are dead. But if you both see each other at the same time and start shooting at the same time, you have a big advantage with the MP41 because it needs 1 less shot to down someone, meaning you can kill the enemy faster.
Or maybe not providing monetisation system that combined with progression system is every bad? Devs should remeber that the main power of the F2P games are those masses of players and the majority will not have/want to pay enough money to avoid being destroyed. This is not a War Thunder, there will always be concuretion for Enlisted and if people will not like what they are here they will move away. Devs should be fair to both groups of players of they choose F2P model: those who want to pay and those who do not.
