This right here man is why playing enlisted can get tiring sometime tbh. I just want to shoot people and have some fun in this chaos.

Honestly it pretty stupid that someone doesnt know how to build rally even tho they are in a br4-5 match. like how did they even get there? They just pay to experience what br5 is like? I dont get it tbh.

If i’m on br2-3 then sure maybe they dont know but br5? there’s literally no excuse.

Or ambulances with level 2 medics and the ambulances could be mobile heal stations/points… That’d be legit. Running over Baddies with an Ambo🤣

I regularly get 100+ on defense in engineering its the easiest points in the game. The simple fix is to make sure starting players have at least one engineer in a squad of or a squad of.

If you look at historical photos and military journals, most firearms actually came with bayonets.
But for some reason, devs either only keep the bayonet feature for Japanese machine guns or bolt-action rifles, while stripping it off everything else.

The FG had its bayonet removed, same with the G-43 and Lee-Enfield. Really frustrating.
All of these should’ve kept their bayonets by default.

It’s basically just a medic supply truck developed based on the ammo motorcycle, essentially acting as a large mobile healing station.

But right now, DF has no intention whatsoever of boosting the role of medics at all. Even the premium gold squad with med kits only has four people. Medics have basically become a forgotten unit. With the game in this state, what else can we even hope for?

First off, they really lack overall game design vision. The motorcycle meta is dead, med kits are dead, and flamethrower troops are dead too.

Yeah, i have barely played japan or russia, to the point that I still haven’t unlocked engineers yet. When i play “join any battle” after playing only germany with 2 engineer squads for a week, it’s alarming when i spawn in as japan and all I’ve got is a sniper squad, rifle, and medics. Pretty loooooong rounds consisting mostly of running to the battle for 30 seconds and then getting mowed down by a greyzoner.

Starting squads for all sides should have 1 eng in Riflemen I squad, as a bare minimum. I bet most players never even unlock the eng on any nation before they quit.

Engineers? New players find them too troublesome, so they don’t unlock them. They’d rather unlock a sniper rifle than this. But I have to bring a half-track vehicle and engineers every game. If no one else repairs the respawn point for the team, I have to do it myself.

I think building is fun, tbh. Always always always have a rally up, drop some crates, some sandbags, rarely barbed wire since bots (and some actual human people) keep walking into it even when it’s placed on the enemy facing outside of windows.

Ability to build AA and AT guns, and MGs is also clutch. It’s rare i do it, but when the team is struggling against a plane or a tank and you can throw a big ol gun together and pop them, it’s great.

I think most new players think Engis are just a slightly worse rifleman that can build sandbags, and that’s sort of it. The score you get for building a (good) rally and a few fortifications faaaaaar outweighs what you would get killing 3-4 guys in the same amount of time. In defense games 1 well-built rally is passive income all game.

New players often mistake this for a traditional FPS shooting game, so they camp out with sniper rifles. However, this is a World War II historical game. Poor teamwork means one person’s contribution is insufficient to control the outcome; instead, it can drag down the entire game. Therefore, new players should learn to use engineers to build respawn points. This isn’t just manual labor; it’s an essential part of advanced gameplay.

Japan is the toughest faction to grind but the most dominant at BR5 even though they have inferior weapons. Some of the greatest defense you will ever see is Japan. I have seen comeback from 800 down on the last cap. I think its the maps that help. Grind at BR1 I do not know why people assume you need to go up BR’s to unlock stuff only the top tier squads need to be leveled not the mid rank or low.

I’m not sure I’m interested in BRIV or BRV any nation, tbh. I’ve seen loads of footage and it seems like an absolute cortisol nightmare, like not fun at all. I’ve leveled germany and US to be able to field full BR2 lineups (with loads of BR3 unlocked and purchased) and still tend to play BR1. Get up-tiered almost every game to BR2, and usually still win, and usually still top 3 or 4 despite being under-equipped. My enjoyment of the game comes from a loose roleplaying perspective, especially from an underdog pov (constantly being up-tiered), I don’t really understand the best gear v best gear “fun.” It seems that the better the gear, the less skill is involved. Maybe that’s just an outside perspective, again, I’ve never played IV or V.

I have way more fun using bolties to make precise kills than i do with spray-and-pray tactics (though admittedly i fully enjoyed a recent “join any” match where i had a beginner ussr squad without even engis unlocked and i made some mad squad wipes with my medics, and we won in the final minutes, in a BR2 up-tier).

I’m not sure what I’m trying to say here, other than “research everything and waste silver on BRV upgrades” isn’t the best way to enjoy the game for everyone. I have 150k silver right now, and not all my soldiers in my main (germany) even have backpacks and extra grenades. I like to buy a couple things after each round in a manner where my silver still goes up, but i get a little extra advantage here or there. That way if i decide to make a big change (like fully up-tiering a squad or two) I have silver in reserve.

I play 4 different BR’s and have 2-3 maxed BRs BRs per faction Germany being my favorite at 1/3/5 Japan 1/5 Russia 3/5 US 3/5. But I have played for years and its more about optimizing and loadout.

Who does not like a gang of dudes with Condors. Skip BR4 it is miserable against BR5, 2 and 3 are kind of sweet spots depending on the nation Germany BR2 feels stacked. I Can fight against BR3 and win with Germany.
