well, im using is2 and i really not have problems againts tiger 2H
if someone wants a more powerful barrel the isu 152 heat will probably help
(at the moment its in game files and I saw that someone managed to make it usable in a mod)

Cool that you all are using IS-2 and can kill Tiger II H, but before the update a player could do the same with T-34-85 and Tiger II P but 2- 3 times faster.
I dont want “more powerful barrel”, I want the silent Soviets workhorse (T-34) do his job as before.

T34 85 was “arguably” better than Panzer IV H, but was not comparable to Panther tanks - yet for some reason you think T34s should dominate in 1945.
you are out of you mind, if anything forcing Soviet players to not “only” use their starting tanks was the absolute right thing to do

I will look at this after gym, but at first glance it looks like that the king tiger in enlisted is much stronger vs. Is-2 (and particularly the is-2 '44 more advanced shells) than the war thunder king tiger.
Which, if you assume that war thunder is correct, is the main reason for the issues.
I think that they are the same as in War Thunder, but Enlisted and War Thunder are different type of games, and IS-2 performs poorly in urban environment with narrow streets and constant danger of enemy infantry.
Agree, it works, even with non-premium T-34-85… but I doubt that someone will have time to aim that precisely in battle conditions.
I will rather bet that Berlin will slowly turn into Tunisia 2.0.

Honestly they should just add the BS-3 100mm and the PaK 43 88mm anti tank guns as upgrades to AT and engineer squads and be done with it, they will decimate any tank in game and somewhat fix the grey zone camping tanks.
That it was much easier for Tiger II P to kill T-34-85, than for T-34-85 to kill a Tiger II P.

Yes, Panzer IV J can kill IS-2 (1943) exactly the same way as T-34-85 can kill Tiger II P.
Moreover - it is much easier for Panzer IV J to kill IS-2 (1944) than for T-34-85 to kill Tiger II H.

- Panzer IV J - very easy to kill
- Panther A / G - similiar in power
- Tiger II P - possible to kill
- Tiger II H - nearly impossible to kill
Panzer IV J against:
- T-34-85 - easy to kill
- IS-1 and IS-2 - same like T-34-85 against Tiger II P

You can one shot a german tank in the turret with the 85mm while the 75mm can’t do that shite, the Pz IV J is slow, non sloped armor and a subpar gun against any soviet tank, you are telling me the 75mm L40 can pierce IS 2 1944 hull while in my test range the 88mm bounce off the hull in long range? Yeah, mate that won’t cut

Stugs and Panzer IVs did indeed destroy many IS2 tanks in the real world, but yea still good point.

IRL the soviet tank quality are dogshite even the short barrel 75mm can shit on their cutting budget weilding or send internal spalling right directly to their crew face
