Moscow isn’t even unbalanced, even with AVS nonsense. It just seems like that because Axis teams have 3 players vs 10 Allied players.

Theres like 30 posts every week between here and reddit complaining about balance in these campaigns and yet no one ever seems to realize theyre playing with a team full of bots.

It’s delusional to say that T-34, T-50, the completely recoil-free PPSh-1 2x71 clips 2s reload time AND “PPD-40 2x71 clips stock”, IL-2 with explosive bullet-salvo, non-dispersive nuclear-scale rockets + bomb salvos, + damage on forged bombs wouldn’t be over-powered - and completely, utterly, nutterly coo-coo to say Moscow would be perfectly balanced.

Only thing balancing Moscow is the player-base - thanks to Allied players being what they are the Axis can scrape a win here and there.

→ Soviet equipment historically is so much better than poor german stuff and that’s why it’s justified for the Soviet in-game equipment to be so much better.
→ Soviet equipment is on par with the axis stuff and nothing needs to be fixed

Which one is it? Stick with it!

I haven’t. Those rockets were basically hand-grenades but now they are weapons of mass destruction. They shouldn’t be.

Yet the rockets are very, very, very good. They are excellent and deal massive damage to infantry and tanks alike.

The problem is this game feeds into the “meta” of the game by allowing 3 assaulter squad all with 4 SMGs and a LMG. The playerbase is also the issue by actually using such scummy tactics and running off the playerbase.

I can win with limited SMGs and mainly bolt actions, so automatic spam isn’t needed to win, it’s just a crutch though making it easy to win.

If there was an equal number of players on each side the winrates would likely even out regardless of the actual weaponry

The reason why there are way less people playing moscow axis is precisely because people see that the soviet gear is much better.

The problem isn’t that I wouldn’t win - I win most of the games I’m in despite I’m solo but that’s just me being me and the playerbase being what it is - the problem is that the campaign is unbalanced.

Fixes need to be made: introduce recoil to PPSh, fix the IL-2 rockets to represent the 0,9kg payload, and fix the tanks. Simple as that.

There’s one more major flaw to the game and that’s that the battles in campaings have no meaning at all. Sure you get some XP and here have a medal, but it doesn’t matter if you lose or not.
There’s no continuity in the campaign, and - well - the playerbase splits into 4 campaigns which is utterly nuts. The only games which have actually solved this problem are planetside 2 and H&G before it went to utter shit, and those campaigns made actual sense. All battles meant something, just a little, in some respective. Here it means nothing. Just go in and spam bots.

They should remove the separation of campaigns but doubt that that’s gonna happen.

The reason is:

5 campaigns where axis has the same equipment
Moscow offers nothing interesting for axis. Guns that WERE interesting are already added in other campaigns with more interesting stuff left
Moscow axis doesn’t allow to mindlessly run&gun unlike stalingrad, normandy or berlin, which makes it even less interesting

I wouldn’t say that’s only the case, I and many others I know enjoy getting to use the same and familiar gear across campaigns. So not everyone is only looking for gear when they play

That’s important for many players. They quit the campaign, axis starts losing more because of huge amount of bots, and ones who don’t enjoy losing also leave.

I said the same thing about tunisia axis. It suffers not mostly from bad equipment. The main problem is lack of interesting content for this side.

I play all sides and all campaigns retard. And I personally have higher winrate as moscow axis.

The few T-50s available were deployed on the Leningrad front. Few in-service photos survived and not much is known of their combat record. One uparmored T-50 was captured by Finnish forces and was used by them in 1944. This unit survived the war and is now on display in Finland.
