Main game problem

It’s the one campaign I never seem able to get hooked on 🤷 I can’t really speak about it, as I don’t know enough to.

But isn’t panther better than tiger?

88 mm better than 75mm.

Depends. 88 has a bit less velocity, it pens less well. When it does, the thing penetrated does explode thought. Tiger is a sidegrade  (if it’s the same as Berlin)

Illogical I think. More caliber more pen.

No. Take Moscow pz3j and pz4. The 50mm pens more than the pz4 75mm. One is a high velocity piercing shell, the other is slow, heavier, better at exploding.

So shell, possible tiger has also better.

it would be better if you could choose campaigns and side you want to play and then start mm. and ofcourse i would like no bots checkbox available (even if it needed 10 minutes to find match)

Panther:

Tiger:

(Both according to wiki. Dont know the stats on WT)

Short:
The Tiger is getting “better”/ on par at 2500/ 2000 meters. Otherwise Panther is either “better” or better.

Yet the maps/ playable parts of each sector are not even 1000m big, partly not even 500m (and Normandy itself is not really a campaign known for having large maps aside D-Day and Ver-Sur).
Would say 250m is the most common distance and here we are talking about 20-40mm difference albeit I am not sure if this matters much in Normandy (we have to wait for the next powercreep there I guess to see what matters).
But then I ve seen people here complaining that they cant pen the Jumbo with the Panther so I doubt those people would be more successful with the Tiger here.

88 has better HE, but less pen.

That’s simply stupid. Do some research before sounding like an idiot. For tank related stuff, I’d reccomend the warthunder wiki, or if you play it, you can check them in the game. Both enlisted and warthunder use exactly the same tanks, with Enlisted tanks usually using the basic shells.
