M4A6 Sherman as a BR III Medium Tank for the US

Please do describe the difference that makes it so different from the premium one we have.

Sherman Firefly IC: Converted from the standard M4 or M4 Hybrid (Composite) hull (British designation: Sherman I or Sherman Hybrid I). It features a Continental R975 radial petrol engine, a shorter chassis, and a cast-metal upper front hull section (on hybrid variants).

Sherman Firefly VC: Converted from the M4A4 hull (British designation: Sherman V). It uses a Chrysler A57 Multibank 30-cylinder engine, which required a longer hull and chassis to fit, resulting in visibly wider spacing between the bogie wheel assemblies.

just some personal thoughts

Adding Sherman VC would also add an M4A4 Sherman variant to the game, further increasing variety and representation of one the war´s most produced tanks.

Thats incorrect though, Allies for example I literally gave the example of the Firefly as a BR V tank.

Alternatively they could and should add the Comet.

Japan I agree is a problem, it should never have went to BR V in the first place.

We need British tank because the Firefly was unique as a British gun on an American tank and in game allows a British crew [why we cant just swap the nationality idk but enlisted is dumb like that]

and yes I do want “premium thing for free” when it should never have been premium in the first place!

Normal regular WWII tech should NOT be locked behind a paywall. Leave that for extra special, unique or prototype tech like one of Hobart’s Funnies or McCrudden LMG or whatever.

I was referring to the entire lineup of 5… which in fairness tanks were the topic at hand.

Thank you for explaining the differences… now while I will acknowledge that is a decent one the core piece of the tank which is a Sherman with a 76 QF gun is unchanged… I am still not a fan of this… I would have never bought Sherman firefly if I knew it was going to be added to the tech tree… and alternatively would not buy the firefly IC if this VC was added… so from gaijins perspective is also taking away possible premiums sales… but I can’t remember if they made this one legacy or not.
