Lunar New Year

I’m pretty sure the Tokyo SMG can be picked up from the para box for the BR3-4 battles. Even though the gun is BR5 now. The devs did not bother fixing the para box content.

In this picture, I see only one person holding a Dadao. I am puzzled. Do the other four people also have Dadao?

I think China should be represented in this game as their own faction. I dislike how the developers are absorbing Chinese equipment into the USA and USSR factions

Fun fact: Comintern was deleted by Stalin in the spring of 1943, when he really, really wanted Americans and British to come help him in Europe with boots on the ground (after actively supplying Germany in 1939-41 as they were bombing England), and heading the organization which wanted to sponsor revolutions, destroy the capitalists and steal their stuff wasn’t helping his PR.

Damn, evil Koba wanted some ground help from his Allies to reduce soviet troops casualties…

i dont think they should have a faction, only a sub faction like italy and the like

Well, you’re right. In fact, there are so many. All these annoying logics aside, in the end, it’s still because there’s no map or faction that belongs to China. Although China’s weapons are very backward and there’s nothing above BR3, it would still be good to be a more independent existence in the game. At least it could solve many of the current discussion problems. There are many people in the forum who oppose the Chinese team. Before this, they seemed to turn a blind eye to the situation where different countries appeared on different maps and different weapons appeared on different maps. It didn’t seem very intense. It just shows a very strong bias.

Well, I don’t think it’s evil. What we should say is that as a pragmatist leader, Stalin’s actions were very reasonable from the perspective of his own country. Of course, we should criticize him for sacrificing the interests of the Comintern at a macro level for the sake of his country. But at that time, the Soviet Union was almost on the verge of being defeated and annihilated. If we were to be concerned about the macro situation at that time, we would be following Trotsky’s line. Not to mention anything else, his ability to command the army to defeat the Germans was already the greatest contribution to the world’s anti-fascist cause.

No, China and Italy might be able to have an independent faction in the future, even if they don’t have top-tier equipment. But being able to fight in the right BR is already great. If we look at it from an outsider’s perspective, this is actually a test by df. What is the consumption level of Chinese people? Because from the sales of Japanese gold coins, it can be seen that there have been many discounts and factory returns recently, all for the purpose of attracting some funds. To put it bluntly, perhaps many people in Western countries can no longer afford gold coins. As a game that needs to be updated every day and constantly charge money, a gift package that can be compared to the price of a game like Elden Ring needs to start exploring new markets. This is a reasonable thing for capitalism. It has nothing to do with nationalism or anything else. As a consumer, I think I should actively respond. I also hope this game can survive and develop.

I was sarcastic  Stalin was really more evil than good imo, but I also dislike thesis that he’s wrong demanding 2nd front opening in that situation

idk about what future you are talking about. last time they added faction was ~3 years ago. almost any meaningful development has stopped for some ~2 years. any graphical improvements are side effect of WT development and not enlisted development. only thing actively developed are maps, squads and weapons and that is with extremely rare update cycles(e.g. manchuria was developed for more than a year after announcement of dev plan).

btw after month+ of not playing the game i am reminded of why i dont play it anymore… getting frame spikes from 120-150 average fps to 1-10 fps for couple of seconds 2-3 times a game since ray tracing update. and if i was alone in this, it wouldnt be that much of a problem, but ~75% of people on forum have or had same issue and this is still not fixed.

So, have you already criticized all these non-historical aspects? But I’m saying that this game is first and foremost an online game, and only secondarily something that imitates history. If you were to imitate history completely, you’d know what would happen: Japan wouldn’t have any BR2+ equipment or tanks, and the Manchurian Campaign would just be a bunch of Type 97s and light tanks being wiped out by T34-85s in a day, with the Japanese only able to hide in bunkers and wait to die. The Battle of Berlin would have no air force, the Germans wouldn’t have the 422. Only a few G44s would be equipped with elite troops and a large number of Volkssturm. Only a few Tiger IIIs would be up against ten times as many T34-85s and IS-2s. I think if we just criticize this, it would prevent the game from updating other things, and it would prevent the game from developing. Then in the end, it would be like that game called Conquest or General, the more hardcore it is, the more likely it is to die out.

Well, you mentioned opening a second front. Is that the Normandy you were talking about?

Yes.

Where did you see me request things 10 T-34s vs 1 Tiger?

What I’m requesting is No Bullshit like Chinese troops near Moscow.

Well, I was wrong about my second point. I was a bit too harsh in my criticism and it affected you. I was thinking that if the game strictly adheres to historical records, then for such niche interests, people can just make mods for themselves. As for this online game, it needs continuous updates to maintain its vitality and popularity. Once all the hot content is exhausted, we should consider some fundamental issues. The biggest problem with the game is that there is still no Chinese faction. China has a vast territory and a large population. It’s like the Soviet-German War, which is quite thrilling. You could even see the Communist Party and a provisional government formed by compradors fighting each other while resisting foreign enemies. Actually, it’s quite feasible to introduce a Chinese faction and have them only fight against Japan. This way, there would be new content for Japan as well. But now, there are so many problems with the game that I don’t even know which one should be addressed first. Is it the Soviet armor, the bugs, or the new factions and maps?

So, secondly, I still have to criticize df. The amount of updates in the past few years has been far too little. What used to be updated in a month now takes three months to match.

Uh, could I take a look at the post? I want to see the one where you criticized all those ahistorical ones, the ones where the country and the historical battles are not in line.

You can take a look at my profile picture first, and then at my topics history in my profile.

Italy, China, and the British Commonwealth can all be sub factions that cap out at BR3 since obviously they don’t have heavy tanks or assault rifles
