As for the melee weapons, i.e. knive - we’ll have to see how this upcoming new swords rewards in the Op. Battle Summer changes the balance of knive / sword use or effectiveness of them.
The axe as a melee weapon makes you a viking berserker;)
I use a knife when I see that there are a lot of opponents around me and I don’t have SMG\LMG and I cut the enemy,I also break windows with an axe\knife
Which are very valid uses. Which is why they could so something like not being able to carry a knife for longer than a certain amount of time before it automatically puts it away again. This way you can still use it to cut through a group of people quickly if you need to or break a window if you need to, but it’ll prevent those morons running around knife only constantly otherwise they run the risk of their knife automatically being put away at the worst possible time. I’m not really sure how they could do it but those people are ruining the games by taking up a slot a competent person could’ve used.
Why? As long as he is not realy close to you the knife is worthless and puting your gun on your back is something soldiers do to move faster or more comfortable. Would you be happy with no weapon in the hand?
