I read what you said.
You said queues now is 20-30s even at prime time and used to be instant. Although you never said about the FULL of players part here.
because, they literally intentionally do that.

They canāt really add repair costs here anyway, we donāt have any ordinary currency in the game and as such they canāt balance that non-existent currency with repair costs. But yeah, even in WT it just doesnāt work well.
K letās make it crystal clear.
I used to get instant queues full of players or at best they took 5 seconds to fill up at prime time. Even during terrible times(2-3 am in europe), iād get full matches in 30-40 seconds.
Now, more often than not at prime time I spend 20-30-40 seconds in queue, and get a half full match, and it takes an additional 10-15 seconds for it to fill up, and at terrible times(2-3 AM in europe), matches can take 2-3 minutes to actually fill from the moment they start.
Regardless of how you look at it, playerbase has decreased.
yeah, i get what you mean. Match took slower to fill up sometimes, itās arguable whether or not playerbase actually decreased because the game just got released for older console.
but one thing for sure, todays 30s queue time are intentional.
Consoles make for a pretty weird situation imo.
Console players certainly exist, however, the majority of console players disable crossplay. If a PC player leaves and gets replaced by a new console player, the entire PC platform is taking a loss because thatās one less player we can play with, while the console user is extremely likely to only play with only console users because honestly, console players canāt compete with skilled PC players without a mouse+kb setup.
vs. āSession waiting time before the system LOWERS the minimum amount of players accepted into the battleā
means for me
so as I read 30 seconds is not intentional, but a consequence of one team not fully filled up.
Agreed, the prices are way too high for single campaign / single side.
They need to make the factions carry-over progress to another campaign, that way you keep the premium squads throughout campaigns, then the current prices could be justified.
