i remain skeptical. if they put 12k xp for t1 and 24k xp for t2, you would be lot slower than normandy in unlocking m1 carbine.
if we take campaign as an example i would expect xp requirements per item in tiers to be something like this
t5 = 180k xp
t4 = 144k xp
t3 = 100k xp
t2 = 50k xp
t1 = 20k xp
idk if this is few days of playing to just unlock bad SA rifle without unlocking anything else…
But they corrected it and updated them in the list earlier. Or at least made them “purple”. Probably to say those who own them, will still be able to upgrade them.
Temporarily out of print
And for the shortened progression stages, I’m concerned about the number of unlocks between stages and the growth factor of experience points and silver coins required.
Do they become steeper and more impenetrable
Fighters and ground attack planes have been mashed together and need seperating. Mortars and anti-tank weapons have been mashed together and need seperating. Shotguns and SMGs have been mashed together and need seperating. Sniper rifles and grenade launchers have been mashed together and need seperating.
Now that we know that these are not the BRs that things will be placed at (Knowing that earlier would have saved a lot of grief), it isn’t quite as ridiculous apart from the obvious errors. Waiting for it to get worse when the BR numbers are released though.
The most staggering thing is that this will just be released live without any testing. Madness.
The M4A1 and M4A2 are both Shermans, yet they are a world apart. The same can be said here. Both are Panzer IV casemates, but they are different Panzer IV casemates.
I personally wouldn’t be that negative. There basically aren’t BR’s now and it will only be a thing with the upcoming meta change. We know what is happening with all of the old stuff. We know the initial TT plans. We know how they plan on doing MM. We just don’t know how they will determine what the intially called “era” which we are now calling BR. Furthermore, what all of this will fully look like when done won’t be known till the patch drops. Just too much nuance.
Furthermore, you KNOW they have been quite receptive to feedback. And I am optimistic that after this patch drops they will be eager to work on the new meta until it is functional enough to get out of Beta. I would expect a lot of reasonable changes in short order after the meta change patch.
I am not negative. I am quite relieved merge is not happening this update.
All I meant with this sentence is that we know actually way less than we thought.
I just don’t understand why we didn’t get clarification/explanation way earlier. Since it was obvious majority of people thought data sheet is referring to actual BRs.
Seems kinda sus imho
