Actually, if this would also be the upcoming BR, I would be surprised at how well the devs understand the meta, this list is actually pretty good.
I think it will be way better. Since this is only progression.
Finally I see devs really knows what they’re doing. I just don’t understand why they didn’t explain it sooner.

I’m honestly quite disappointed, now that I know these tech trees don’t reflect the balance. That is the most important thing. Why show us only the order of progresssion? How much does it even tell us, when we don’t know the XP cost?
Have you not figured out the BR yet, or do you just not want to tell us? I think we’re in for a nasty surprise…
Yep, we basically don’t know anything. This progression basically isn’t even relevant to veteran players.
But it’s still relieving af. I thought the situation is way worse and I am really glad I was wrong.
Yep, I think this is the case. Since they are still working on progression, not even balance itself. We shouldn’t really expecting merge soon. Exactly as Major said.
But I really wonder what next update will be… I got literally no clue.

I’m not really bothered by BRs and Tiers, all I want to see is which weapon/vehicle will be linked to which map?
If MP-3008 in Tunisia and Ofenrorh in Stalingrad, I’m out.

Talking about separation of a stretched out player base and you want to add tiers? I feel like this is going to force people away even further… I struggle to find a game on War Thunder because of this issue. I feel as if the model of the game in it’s current state is phenomenal, and don’t fix what isn’t broken. Love this game, just to be said, and I’d hate to see it die. Please don’t kill Enlisted

Since most likely there will be a research malus tied to tier gap between what you play and the researched item, then the less tiers, the better.

in berlin, doesn’t really shine as you are so low that dead chassy of tanks prevents you from even seeing the enemy or be able to shoot them. though, it’s angled.
even though against 85s can die in one shot ( if your opponents knows where to shot, which it’s rare )
it could be devastating in normandy ( the campaign where originally was designed to be in. )
so, if are against the soviets, it’s going to be a meh, if you are going to be against the muricans after the merge, will be a huge thing due to low profile and angled armor .
( also, it has good he. dunno about the panzer IV/70a. i never used it. looks ugly )

We were talking about differences between (V) and JP IV. But you are right about different guns. Since Both (A) and (V) versions has same armament.
(A) version is noticeable very different.
