Levels in the renewed Enlisted

When BR levels come to soldiers or certain pieces of equipment, I will certainly hardly play the game anymore.

I’ve finished almost all of the campaigns, and I’m in possession of almost all premium squads. So I started replacing my Tier 1 soldiers with higher levels, as well as with the equipment, small ammunition bags with larger ones, etc.After all, the grind has to go on.

I’ve also played all the campaigns so far, with the exception of Berlin, since this stupid train escort has been added (sorry, it doesn’t work at all!!). So under the new system, I’m just a high tier just because I replaced a level 1 engineer with a level 2 engineer, or a grenadier has a backpack or large ammunition bag?

As a result, I will inevitably end up on Berlin cards very often, but I don’t play them anymore! So that I can play a game on Moscow or Tunisia, should I now dismiss my very expensive soldiers of level 2, 3, 4 and grind again level 1? No, absolutely not!

Also, I don’t feel like studying tons of lists and converting hundreds of soldiers just to play a mid-level game.

My conclusion: It’s not wrong to play high tier games, but I don’t feel like playing ONLY high tier! And why should you play a lot if there is no point in improving the soldiers or the equipment?

Because it goes along the lines of my proposition that somehow got more popular than the devs very own post overnight… So ppl DO want it.

I’m just afraid that it became so cluttered here, that ppl will just miss it…

I will suggest my 2 things then at least for now.
1-Remove ratings from soldiers. It makes the point itself as @SwatBT stated.
2-Make all BA attainably between rank 1-3, BA with grenade or anti-tank launcher rank 4-5 or 6.

From what I understand, tier lvls each contain maximum 2 of a type of weapon (maximum 2 rifles, max 2 smgs, 2 tanks…)

I’d change this canvas. Like many before me mentioned, some weaponry, namely riflemen weapons like bolt actions and semi autos, are way too high lvl because of this canvas.

And it makes 0 sense, because one could argue bolt actions are more or less alike… the one at lvl 1, could easily compare with those at lvl 6. BOLT ACTIONS COULD ALL FIT IN 2 OR 3 TIERS

But you don’t have to do that other than for the specific purpose of min-maxing your BR. When they rework soldier perks, it makes sense for higher-tier soldiers to be a higher BR since they ultimately will have more advanced and expensive perks.

The purpose is playing with other people.
I was hoping with this rework i could talk some friends into playing. But now seeing this i guess i will just switch to their games .

So anyone playing with me would be f8cked, not only i would have to swap every squad and their weapons to lower BR (speaking of, squad loadout are f*cking useless now as they don’t save soldiers and their eq in squads, so we still have to spend 15 minutes each time equiping all squads, and stripping down old squads, IMAGINE SPENDING 30 MIN EACH TIME SOMONE WITH LOWER BR WANTS TO PLAY, HELL NO)

But now also my soldiers i collected, with funny names, custom uniforms will also have to be changed each time. Better keep stock of 10000 soldiers

All in all, the whole new system is far too focused on new players and older veterans fall by the wayside, the whole thing is far too complex and a lot of things make no sense! Well, here are my 2 suggestions:

• Soldiers are not allowed to get BR ratings (had already posted about this here!)
• Additional equipment may also not be classified (you can still talk about grenades, but not for backpacks, pistols, etc.)

The BR should focus on the main weapon / vehicle, and not on additional equipment: a T-26 will not become a KV-1 just because a tank soldier has a backpack, or an HS 123 will not become a BF 110 F2 just because the pilot has a pistol with him - this is absolute rubbish!!!

O hell yea ,without em at rank1 Tunisia axis is almost unplayable , also as first smg in tunisia should be Bereta M1918 and not an MP28,because i see no logical sense that Bereta M1918 is is Normandy campain on hight level and not in Tunisia.

New player will not grind through 7 levels (possibly months of game) to unlock M1 Garand - he will delete the game.

It is just another attempt to squeeze money from newcomers.

I am thinking that there will be a late/endwar campaign for US and Japan, to give both sides more advanced weaponry.
As it is, Japan has the worst capability and power progression-wise (though the Zero can be a threat in the air). And the US has little at the top tiers whereas Russia and Germany are far better equipped. The Jumbo and Sherman 76 are the best tanks that the US has, and neither can really stand against a Panther or T-34 unless they are lucky.
I am thinking that, to allow the US to match the Tiger II and IS-2 in tanks, they should get at least a M4A3E8 (76), or, more preferably, the M26 Pershing, which has the power and armor to be able to handle the top-tier Russian/German supertanks.

Maybe it would be better to arrange the BR of weapons by the date of entry into service (not creating a prototype, such cases are only weapons for gold orders and premium troops).
Add the September 1939 Campaign as BR 1.0-2.0 maps, and assign the difficulty level of each campaign to the years it took place.
For example:
*BR 1.0 - 2.0 1939
*BR 1.0 - 3.5 1940
*BR 1.0 - 4.0 1941
*BR 1.0 - 6.0 1942
*BR 1.0 - 7.0 1943
*BR 1.0 - 9.0 1944
*BR 1.0 - 10.0 1945
This will allow you to maintain historical accuracy, and as for the MP3008 and VG 1-5, they should be on BR 8.0, but very cheap to buy in both exp and silver per piece.

Why is BR 1.0 available every year? Because the produced weapons were not abandoned, but were used until, for example, it was not finished. Fiodorov’s automaton was used only in the Winter War for example, and the PZIII ceased production in 1943, and was used until 1945. And for this reason, Fiodorov’s automaton should be for golden tickets, not available from the tree.

Infantry units would also have to be limited to maps for the reason that German paratroopers did not jump on Berlin because the last German airborne operation was carried out during the Ardennes offensive.

As for team construction, the current mechanics of specialized teams are not bad, but if we want a more historically correct game, the teams should be like rifleman teams, i.e. the core is made up of ordinary riflemen in the number of 5 and to that we add 4 different specialists, which gives 9 soldiers. But that’s a digression from me as I would design it.

And if we want to stick to WT standards, a BR 1.0 weapon should have the same power as a BR 10.0 weapon with the same ammo type.

And how do you want to balance the September campaign since the Polish Army in 1939 used BAR machine guns, HMG wz.30 or also flamethrowers, mortar grabbers and horizontal bombers. And for this 7TP which firepower was not inferior to German tanks, Karaś dive bombers and a lot of other equipment, including the first war French and after the partitioning armies.

How exactly will we obtain Squads with this new techtree?

Because i have purchased the Battlepass Tiger E from gold orders but dont have a squad to play it with, yet, and wont unlock it in time for the update.

Will tanks just be made interchangeable so i can play any tank with any squad? Or will i have to research the Tiger E in the techtree to get the squad for my Battlepass Tiger E?

In that case, which of the two squads that can hold the Tiger E (one from normandy and one from berlin) will be the one we get to research and play the tank with?
