Comrade PTRD41 is the way, BT-7 is the way. T50 would just be fighting dirty, something similar to cheating
hard to tell since the only tanks that were made, 69 (
funny number ) were all sent to the leningrad front during the assault.
on paper ( just like many tanks iād say compared to the real life counter part except the panther. that was bad both in design in paper, and in reality ) it is quite powerful. as it is a " smaller T34 ".
matter of fact, according to the tank encyclopedia in the archive section, ( which i suggest you to read, itās quite interestring ) T-50 light tank (1941)
just talks about that.
the only issue were itās turret traverse due to the crampted " work space " for those tankers to relay on.
speaking in gameplay terms, the T50 i dare to say itās very good.
but it becomes even better if we consider the ugly damage models of tanks.
personally, i donāt proclaim my self to be a tanker ace, but i think iām just about " good " to know and shoot each tanks when i face one. ( i used to be a huge enjoyer of war thunder. up until cold war vehicles faced ww2 stuff and other issues).
the T50 when it comes with german tanks, it can be penned by PZ III Js and PZ IVs. thatās where it gets problematic. the pz II has no effect, let alone the PZ III B and iām not sure the PZ IIIE can pen it frontally. on top of that, the damage models soak all shells like no tomorrow and is immune to anti tank rifles.
so it really hard to blow it up ( to the very least, frontally. which majority of the invasion tanks battle takes place unless you have those said tanks ).
is it balanced?
yesnāt.
is it overpowered like many people claim?
i think not.
itās just a powerful tank.
once a matchmaker will be created or more anti tank stuff ( or just people getting those said tanks ) things will improve a bit and be more ābalancedā. ( even fix the damage tanks models would improve things, and not only for the T50. yes, iām looking at you spaghetti car. )
