Just my experience, I can almost always tell when i’m playing with an Xbox player due to them playing notably worse than other console players.

I know right! :). I literally posted the image I had instead of using one that could game the subject by showing how bad console players are. I made this post after the 3rd German loss with way too many console players. You can smell a loss sometimes. The map, the players all give subtle clues to how crap a match will be. Or you can just play Japan 5 where everyone knows how to dish out a beat down. That is like 90% win rate and when you lose you don’t feel bad because of the other side having to earn that win.
Raw skill, I disagree. The best players play all elements of the game. You know how to get at least 2-3 of the gimme badges a match (Stabby stab, jumping out of a 5 person bomber with 4 of the pilots built like assault troopers. Killing bots is not the number one skill for a win. The number badges generated is.

I’m pretty sure you can’t tell who’s on Playstation and who’s on xbox when you’re on pc and looking at results. So what makes you think it’s an xbox player? This is why you’re post is so hilariously dumb.

Broadly speaking, yes. I’ve run into more people than i’d care to who’ll just… stop playing the objective and try to farm for points or to pad their K/D ratio(as if it matters), some’ll even start complaining in chat trying to get other people on the team to stop and farm too.
It has actually cost me games before. Its real annoying to be fighting for your life on the obj, die, go to respawn and see your teammates sitting in the back, not helping.

You’re right I can’t, i’m just guessing, hence why I said, “in my experience” rather stating it as a hard fact. I used to be a console player (still do on occasion) and there’d usually be an icon next to people’s names designating what platform they were on. Whenever i’d play any game with crossplay and i’d see a particularly bad player, it’d almost always be an Xbox player. Even my old buddies from school, who were all Xbox players, would say the same thing.
I didn’t say “Xbox players being notably bad” was an incontrovertible truth, rather just my anecdotal experience which makes me agree with the OP that i’d like to turn off crossplay.
