I will also not invest more money until i see how the changes play out and whether i like them or not.

Maybe Gaijin’s accounting team will have last say, when they see their primary source of income will go if they make unrestricted changes to MM.
I have never been so active on the forum, but I play this game daily, even now logging in for a nice Tunisia fight, but that is my choice and taking my freedom of choice away is never a good thing!

I imagine they can gather alpha testers and give them access to a version of the game that has the system they want to implement, so they can see how well it works before fully releasing the new system to everyone.

Yes, I would have thought so, @1942786 @James_Grove @Ungorisz have you got plans to Alpha test this change with real existing players before implementing?
I really loved the idea of campaigns. I liked the idea of different atmospheres and theatres as well as roleplaying with my squads. I didnt always equip my squads with the highest gear, I would roleplay m1 grand and carbine for fun. But thats out the window. I was also looking forward to event squads and premium squads but they seem pointless now.
Ive invested time and money aswell, unfortunatley in the hundreds of dollars, buying premiums for my favorite campaigns such a snormandy and tunisia. However, it all seems pointless now. No more roleplaying 101st airbourne division in Normandy, or Marines in Pacific. Its all guna go to crap now. I was really hoping to see uniqueness like paratroopers parachuting into Normandy etc. But theres a reason why I dont play the new MW2 over enlisted, because MW2 is a garbage fuckfest. If they want to go that route, theyll lose my interest as well.

This won’t be the case since there is a BR mechanic. They will face is2 and federov if they use those weapon.
So why will it make low level stuff pointless? If you use low level stuff you will meet people who use it.
Ok so you are saying I want to chose low level on purpose, the logic is somewhat confused, I used BA Lebel premiums in Berlin for fun, now you are saying I equip low level stuff and farm new players, where is balance in that?
Where is the balance of using tiger against stuart which is happening now?
Its a flawed fucking system, they shouldve have just let us que as nations, and then randomize what campaigns is played according to that nation.

I think they specifically said that even using low level stuff you can still run into KT, etc. That depends on the MM queue, and whether there are enough high level players to populate matched between eachother with or not.

That situation happen if there are not enough high level player. If everyone is using high level equipment like OP said, there will be no such situation.

How did “most” make it true? Most people using high level weapon still mean there is enough high level player, so you will still not meet low level player.
Yeah, the only fun I had in this game was playing with high-end weapons against superior forces, boosting the weaker side. As well as having a whole variety of equipment from mosin rifles to fedorov on the battlefield was fun and actually a great diversity. Good balance would be to make sure that each side has equal amount of good/average/console players. Lets say 1 tryhard for every team, some average and bolties for meatgrinder. That’s where the fun was. Not 10 vs 10 phosphorus spamming sweaty tryhards(who also play in their cringesquads), it’s the most dogshit experience this game has. So yea I will enjoy whatever time I have left until this game will die for me.

Ok, so when will you use Dicker? Will that be in your standard axis line up for any map after changes, ok you use that, I’ll have a Jagdpanther and su100 in my line up, don’t you see the point? Up to you if you want to spend money on something that you won’t even get a guaranteed chance to use…
Now I can log in go Tunisia and fly my prem MkIV with 40mm, after change it will be silly to put that in my line up, it would likely be Typhoon or A20.
Or to keep things more simple as axis: I would put KTII, Jagdpanther, why would I put my Stug premium, my pzivE premium, Panzer III N premium, PzWfr Rocket half-track in line up?
Because if you are gonna have only early war tanks, you are gonna face enemy early war tanks?
