Yeah, seems strange that the event Eng squads that can use an SMG are restricted to just one specific SMG. They should be allowed to use SMGs that are available to the assault class, but none of the rifleman class.

Well we already have “assault rifles” and SMGs limitations being different for other classes.
Tankers used to be able to carry STG44, but that was changed, Guerillas also cant use ARs.
