They should force practice mode for every new player and make it so that you cant finish practice modde before you havet done certain things!

Well, its sometimes fun waste 2 full kitted squads with Mp40 while running amongst them noobs I mean!
The biggest problem i see besides the engineers not doing anything beside on or two respawn points a game is people not defending points. Like sure you capture a point but if everyone else just runs out and dies trying for another then there is no one to defend the original point. Even just one or two squads defending will usually be enough and if you can hold two points you will win but everyone just keeps charging and not ordering their squads to do stuff so next thing i know we have no points captured.

Blame game design. It is much more profitable in terms of XP to capture new point than defending captured one. Mostly because you are active all the time this way. The game does not punish you for losses but awards for kills.

True if you gained points and exp just for holding a point it would likely help.
Though honestly i have gotten quite a few games where i got first just for defending because the enemy has to come to me on my terms. And i typically do at least medium rank wise which is pretty high for me truthfully.

Free to play and bots. The player base is not going to be that sweaty, which is a good thing.

I love this game. Uninstalled BF4 to play this, also Overwatch.
BUT, the lack of skilled players is doing my head in.
Im ALWAYS nr 1 in team… its getting beyond boring at this point. Sure its fun to set up an ambush for noobs, but not being able to rely on on your team is frustrating… to the breaking point.
I try to coach people, but they dont listen. They say: Go to lone fighters you tryhard!
And I’m like, okay, lets do that. They still dont play obj, dont build spawn points, nothing.
Where do I find the good players?(If there is any?)

Huh… wierd, what do you play on what campaign?
Almost all of my games look like this:
Me on the top of the scoreboard, 2-3 people right under me with 1000-3000 less points, around half the kills of me, 0 spawn points built, half the obj kills. Double deaths.
After that theres a big dip in score, people with anything between 400-2000 in score a game. Usually most players dont get over 2000 score a game, where I get about 4000-8000. Its really good for the XP, but makes me frustrated to play, since I feel they are not trying. Its not like Im hard trying either, I play around with flamers, mortars, melee, engineers.
But maybe thats why, they dont try everything? Cause most people I see just wanna do like MGs or Submgs, and then u dont learn the rest…
I play a bit of all i think is time when you play have less player
Honestly, now lately I feel like there has been an influx of “new” players. Ive played lone fighter games where I have 1000 score, and my team cant get over 200.
Im not sure if thats serious players or people just who try the game once to never play again, cause thats how it feels, they dont try, they dont know anything, they just get killed and camp wierd places.
Try to put play on any server in server selection menu
Someone dug this thread up from the grave but yes, especially after this latest patch. You can see in-game on the minimap when you mark a target your AI will all snap to look in that direction.

honestly, Im feeling like I should put this game down for a year or so, until people learn the basics, been playing 3 games now without a single spawn point built from team, ended up top of the scoreboard on each of them, when I look at what people been doing the whole game, its like camping a building waay off point where no1 goes, sniping from spawn, another problem is tanks just going of the grid when we need tank support,
uhhhh all my problems with the game are player related so Im not sure how its gonna get fixed.
I alrdy played germans to lvl 29 in normandy, halfway with russians and germans in other campaigns, so Ive played ALOT and been good, getting good xp, like 10.000 a game lately, but honestly, feels like a constant influx of newbies who get slaughtered never to play again, im not sure its the best for the game, since new players will feel underpowered and pros undersupported from team…
Ive tried diff regions, but no diffrence. Im thinkin my high campaign lvl sets me up with noobs mostly, cause it just seems wierd I would dominate every match without even trying, no other game is like that for me… but hey! Maybe it gets better in a year or so if the game still has players…

Tried to play today again… paired with a full team of mps and kar only. Game was the chancelor, 2 russian tanks just holding the entire map in the middle, but our tank slots are always busy? But I never see our tanks, and the 2 russian ones are just there the entire game, winning it for them…
Also, invasion maps like the one with the bridge at the start, NEEDS tank support for germans. But ofc no1 goes tank unless me… I dont wanna sit in the start and just wait to se if no1 goes tank so I have to, its getting REALLY boring playing with only noobs…
Honesly, the game felt better a month back, not sure if its the influx of new players, but this is becoming unplayable for me. The only game where I get frustrated for being top of the score board.
Im tired of pushing points alone, im tired of hunting tanks alone, its supposed to be a team game, why the fuck do all the players play solo???
