And i am sorry at the Delete Mods Cache post, i wasn’t trying to argue with you, I didn’t know how i could deliver the correct in better ways, so i just went info dump without language decorations.
I hope i didn’t offend you, you are always a big help in the bug report forum by responding to reports quickly. Please just keep doing what you are doing, its the right thing to do
yes, how dare I to expect that the DEVs might fix bugs which exist 2-4 years ingame

well to be totally fair to the devs, they did fix the bug with a few guns like the MAS-36 not playing the new firing sound when not in first person.
They are also slowly phasing out the looped gun shot sound tracks, starting with guns like the MG 42 last major update.
On the modding support side, they did respond to my report about them accidentally remove sound for the M4A1 gun, and fixed it in the very next build
I am confident that they will fix the issues you mentioned in the near future
I have no doubt about that, always looking for more BR3 and below guns to fill out squads, dont like having squads with mismatched ammo types unless for a reason (aka US engineers with a shotgun or etc).
That and Im annoyed, I only have 1 M93 from pre-merge, but its a fun weapon and I cant get more despite it used to being TT.

Alpha Testers can join some of the late-stage playtests with CMs/devs on new things before they go live to help source bugs and issues, but they also test things together (or alone) on the client they will have access to or on the live server now depending on where the bug is.

It’s unfortunate that console players can’t test, some of us play a lot and continually point out bugs already. Could this change in the future?
I wouldn’t hold your breath for it… there are several reasons for why only PC is able to do this. Even Open Betas, whenever they roll around, are PC exclusive.
On PC, developers can distribute a new build whenever they want, sometimes several times a day. Meanwhile, on consoles, every build generally has to go through platform-holder processes and requirements before it can be distributed. That makes rapid iteration much more difficult. An alpha test may involve unstable builds, frequent patches, crashes, missing features, and systems that are constantly changing, which is just much much easier to manage on PC.
And as Major said, alpha tests use custom tools and debugging features that simply don’t exist for consoles, because they are just easier to deploy and support on PC. Even if they did make them available on multiple platforms, the devs may not even be able to have all console and PC versions of all new features ready at the same time.
It’s just a whole lot of hassle for little gain, especially when testing teams are usually fairly small to begin with.

Then first thing for the alpha team is to allow console users to switch their account between PC and console instead of being locked to one platform…that should be easy enough to accomplish with login credentials…we have WAY too much to lose switching now.
And doesn’t the entire Outlist make up members of the master race?

I’m going to assume there are legal/contract implications to this based on platforms taking % of in-game purchases. There is probably an account-based exclusivity contract with different platforms to prevent someone on PS, for instance, to log onto their account on PC to make purchases, which PSN gets no money from.

You should really figure out how to get console players involved in this since I just found out it was on consoles pre-merge…especially if it is rewarded.
