Not sure if it will help against German tanks but more stuff is noice I guess.
Only when germany gets its Jagdtiger. (And both having stats similar to the Ho-Ro)
Probably premium
The ISU-152 would be pretty funny but wouldn’t actually be very good. Despite having a giant ass cannon it actually has less penetration than the 122mm gun.
Overpressure
Soviets don’t need tanks, what they need is the same thing like any faction needs and its the making tank shells more reliable. problem with tanks is, when you fire HE to direct enemy, no matter which shells(75mm-150mm) you use sometimes its just kills 2-3 people while there is exactly 10 guy standing, or when you shoot a tank where you can %100 pen, its just doesn’t pen it. and since soviet big guns has high reload time, this issue being huge problem for their performance, so simply all tanks needs “fix” for their shells and this will also fix soviet’s tank problem
The effect of large HE shells cracking armour isn’t really modelled in the game, otherwise the IS-2’s HE shell would already be enough to kill things like the Panther just by shooting its UFP.
That’s true, compared to War Thunder the overpressure modeling is embarrassing in Enlisted. But that doesn’t mean that it isn’t an efficient way to kill tanks as an HE slinger. It might take a bit more aiming than in War Thunder, but the ISU-152 would be able to overpressure any tank it faces.
i crave a german 128mm
ISU and Jagdtiger are not comparable AT ALL
Top mounted MGs should always be added if they existed for said vehicle type.
I doubt it can HE any place you can’t penetrate with the regular AP shell.
its HE shells already enough to 1 tap panthers and panzer4s just by shooting their turrets, which I did few times just today. its just tank shells not consistent and not reliable, most of the time they does nothing
You have to aim for different weakspots, overpressure behaves differently to AP shells so if you treat it like an AP shell then you’re not gonna accomplish anything.
You can do that with its AP shells as well, my point was just that the game doesn’t really model the effects of very large HE shells (or really large shells in general) against armour. Like, especially against the brittle German armour plating, even if the shell can’t penetrate the tank on paper the energy of the shell can cause a tonne of spalling and even just straight up crack the plate.
it is in the game-files, and comes with a dshka, ![]()
( ignore the rest. it’s for a mod me and bazsi are working on )
And meanwhile stug III is crying on the corner without it’s MG bruh

Yeah unfortunately it’s not modeled very well in War Thunder either, and when it’s carried over to Enlisted it gets nerfed pretty hard. But you can still overpressure things pretty easily with the big HE shells.
Functionally the SU/ISU series is one of the major vehicle fleets to still not make it into Enlisted, despite being historically prominent.
Since the 152mm HEAT shell is post war, the vehicle would come with ~17 second reload (aka IS2 speed) and have a generally strong KV2 like effect. ie it likely fits in BR4 on average.
Id personally honestly prefer the ISU-122S to be added, since its benefit over the IS-2 would be the higher rate of fire (12 seconds with reloader buff vs 17sec) aka 25% faster ROF.
Both / either deff work and arent OP.
