It’s true that Japan has endless potential for those little 6-day events.
Just as there are retextured weapons with different finishes or wood types (PPSh reward, Beretta Roma, PPS red, etc.), they could add flags used on the event rifle squad to practically any weapon with a longer barrel. And make it a reward for those small events.
It would definitely be appreciated by many Japan faction players, as they could get something more unique. It would require very little effort to implement, since all the assets already exist. It wouldn’t even need any new textures.
Honestly, I don’t understand why the game doesn’t have those 6-day events every week. They could just recycle something each time, or, for example, just import decals from WT.
In this regard, I really consider it laziness on the part of the developers

There is plenty of LMGs for BR III and BR II and not a single LMG event squad… I mean come on xD

I think there are only two LMG event squads in the game. Charlton (from 2021) and MG-39. So, it’s not like Japan is being ignored in a specific way here. They do need more variety in the tech tree but my view is that investing in Japan is not very fruitful for Enlisted as many people dislike the maps and don’t want to play them anymore.
