Yes? You climb up to 1000-1200 feet (or whatever metric is used) which doesn’t take long then you dive on enemy aircraft.

Not for enlisted. Most ppl stick around 600
It is and i can guarantee you that you will ever win the fight against Bf109 on that alt as P-51D as long as both have the equal skills
P51 is by far my most played plane and I’m politely skeptical of ur claims from my experience. I will acknowledge that I don’t have much dogfighting experience outside of enlisted so maybe the other plays just sucked but I never felt that my plane was weak even pre merge or when I brought it up to br 5 (pre jets).

And I will go a step further and say that I benefitted far more from p51 flying stats then say the ki 100. Speed is king in enlisted since so much of ur gameplay is resupplying. And part of that speed is energy conservation which p51 is good at.
That’s fair comparison sure. Since Ki-100 is also happens to be BR 3 airplane with a good turn ratio and bomb loadout but much slower speed. P-51D does have a speed/acceleration advantages as well as better climb rate over Ki-100.
This is no different than referencing armor.
Turning is also related to that albeit more so at a lesser extent… dropping your one bomb and then turning quickly i prefer much more than the speed of resupply… but it doesn’t hurt.
