I want Type Hei auto with 20 round mag

9mm gets 2 shot kills? That don’t seem right. Sten and Lanchester ain’t that good

Well Sten are the exception. But what is it for MP40? 7 dmg per shot?

7+7 is 14, you need 13.5 dmg for a one hit down/kill.

My whole point why I complaine about Mp40 vs PPS43 and body armor.

PPS kills in 3 shots but has a faster rate of fire, while MP40 kills with two shots up close - body armor however turns it into a 3 hit kill weapon.

Ain’t they the same 9mm? Parabellum or whatever? What’s with the different damage stat?

Sounds like not enough stoppin powah

Yeah same bullet, but just less damage to not reach 13.5 dmg.

Guess its artificial balancing since its a BR1 gun - which is kinda weird to me since German BR1 MP34 still kills in two shots.

Guess it shoots slower, who knows…

That being said, a new higher BR Sten gun could get some damage buff then.

Stupid. So incredibly stupid. JUST MAKE DAMAGE BASED OFF BALLISTICS DARN IT

I mean realistically speaking that plate could possibly survive many more 9mm rounds, since thats what it was made for, however having those plates as a secret 10% damage reduction without movement penalties is bad game design.

Yeah armor thing is retarded. But seriously, this would be the PERFECT answer to trying to make every nation balanced, but also, make every nation have a pro or con. Have each gun perform as realistically as possible. IRL RoF’s. IRL ballistics. Preferably a system of damage numbers that makes some sort of sense rather than this arbitrary bullcrap. If a gun delivers more energy on impact, then it should have a higher damage than a gun with less energy on impact. If two guns have about the same energy transference, then one shouldn’t be arbitrarily higher or lower “just cause”
It would be great! Sometimes one gun performs better than another, sometimes one faction has a consistently good series of weapons because it was a good cartridge to use. It’d be fantastic

Seriously. Treating guns like they do now would be like making the American 76mm and Germany 76mm have the same pen stat because of RoF or some bull like that. It just doesn’t make sense!

I agree with you, however actually finding out how much damage transfer each gun and ammo actually had on a human target is not easy to answer.

Bullet mass is not the answer, when it doesn’t deform upon impact

Velocity is neither when overpenetration exists.

Ballistics are very complicated.

It’s simple. Muzzle velocity + weight of the projectile

What we really need is another rifle capable of being BRV as well as at a minimum a BR IV semi auto sniper, and a bomber before it gets a 20 round mag. Japan barely qualifies for BRV and nerfing the Hei would take away one of the only things it has that make it stand above BR III/IV. instead of messing with the balance they need more equipment then the nerf. This way it’s weapons are on par with the Americans but also as close to HA as possible to satisfy those HA vampires.

Well yea I find it quite hilarious/annoying that when they weren’t fighting against it they didn’t care but when they do suddenly thing like these pop up

You know what? after seeing some jap main post sure nerf some jap stuff that should knock them down a peg

One would think so, but 5.56 ball and 5.45 are capable of much greater damage than something like 7.62 Nato with a steel penetrator despite it having much more potential energy.

A bullet needs to be able to let the target absorb the energy, otherwise it will “only” create a hole.

Yes, this would be a great solution

Aight let’s let the over pen matter when we get there
As is all we got’s FMJ and soft tips
